2. I think this loss knocks the wind out of 'em. They've given all they had. Instead of staying home, enjoying a week off, and assuming the Rams win week 18, the 9ers will go to either Chicago or Philly next week. These two hard, cold venues will be too much for the 9ers at this point.

4. 9ers offense picked the wrong game to not show up. After averaging 35 points to be held to 3? Defense FINALLY plays a decent game and the offense let them down.

7. Look, check out the way that McDonald is using his D-line. He's blitzing somewhere around 40%. He's getting home with 4-5 pass rushers. He's mixing up defensive looks almost every snap with pre-motion. Walking up LBs to make it look like they're rushing and then dropping back into coverage. He's even got edge rushers hesitating at the line until the corner can loop around take that guard's attention and then goes once the hole opens. The way he's stunting LBs and the D-line in unison so that each player is filling some hole that the previous guy held is mind-boggling. I'm not taking anything away from the Niners. They've been playing great ball, but schematically teams are going to have to adjust to how McDonald's defense is set up. The only team that is threatening them right now, in my opinion, is the Rams. You want to figure out how to beat the Seahawks watch the last game against them. Stafford was walking up and down the field against them using the middle on crossers and slants all night and carved them up. I love the Seahawks, but the Rams had that game. If not for the way things played out down the stretch the Rams would've won.

13. Purdy never put the team on his back and won a game but he's the best QB in the league, in what universe? The best thing Shanahan did for this team was lead with the weaker QB in Brock Purdy..     Kyle shanahan is supposed to be a great offensive coach. He had no answers to Seattle. It’s not like Seattle is a team that is new to them

19. That high scoring terror of 13 pts, not a beat down just a lack of focus and a bad game from Kyle. No motion no using other offense members short routes no misdirection, basically 7 games straight Kyle was due for s bad called game. D did just enough with what they had, special teams and O were complacent and did not fight enough, it's ok it did not end the season. I refuse to live in a negative space and only the best take on challenges when the going gets tough. Not quitting on the Niners after a bad regular season game.
