13. I don’t know LT money well enough, is this a reasonable deal? I know he’s good, not great. I’m very happy for the re-signing if it’s not breaking the bank compared to the market.

    Rob Staton made a point on this earlier that the Seahawks were savvy for not breaking the bank on Shaquill and letting him walk, and that turned out to be the right decision. Just checking with smarter folks if this looks good for both sides

21. Great news. I don’t think Cross is quite an elite LT, but he’s certainly good enough to extend and have the position secured.

    Hope they can also keep Jones as the swing tackle. He’s been awesome.

25. Might be an over pay, but you don’t want to be without a quality LT. Those guys only appear high in the draft.

28. This is what you do, you cash in on a rare top pick. Gifted by getting out of a terrible situation with your aging qb. Draft a great LT, develop him, use his year 5 and then extend him on a good contract. Well done. This has been fumbled so many times before. Then simple as that follow it up by drafting a top of the league corner the next year instead of a headcase DT, draft the best wr in the draft in the 20s of the same first round. Then the next year take the best DT in the mid teens and hire the best coach in the league. It’s that simple are yall stupid?!

30. I’m happy right around 25APY – still hoping he can make the last “little leap” because he has a lot of the intangibles to be elite. This could end up being a steal if he does.

    OL cohesion and chemistry is the biggest indicator of success in the NFL according to advanced analytics from me just now coming up with that.

32. This puts him as the 3rd highest paid left tackle. But it’s always really hard to gauge when salary caps keep raising and the market keeps getting reset. Pay your studs early and a high end left tackle is really really hard to replace. Good work.
