I got downvoted to hell in this subreddit for saying we should’ve lost against the giants for the tank, that game had no significance for us. Now, we beat the Eagles and knock them to a lower seed to make them play the 9ers ~~on the road~~, and kill their momentum, which only costs us one or two spots in the draft and this subreddit is all in on the tank all the sudden and i get downvoted again for being happy we won? Make it make sense??

OK I won’t lie I was mad we won at first because I wanted us to get the 5th pick, but seeing just how furious Eagles fans are and how this makes their playoff road harder, I’ve done a 180.
I for one can’t wait for another year of Philly fans’ poutrage over us beating their backups.
Honestly i wouldn’t have been upset with the loss, but overall i’m still glad we won. At best we would have gotten the 5th pick, and now it looks like we’ll get the 7th – but I think we all know that there are no certainties in the draft no matter which pick you have. There are gems and busts every single year.
More importantly, we just made the Eagles have to go on the road in the playoffs. Fuck the birds.
