MVP this man please

  1. I can’t believe he took such a leap this year. I expected growth, but he’s ascended, and hopefully will only get better

  2. Stat Padford is out here trying to get as many touchdowns as he can, spamming throws to Puka inside the 5 yard line while the Patriots run 4 touchdowns in.

Maye for MVP. Most efficient QB in the league by a margin.

  3. Best QB in the NFL this season but won’t win MVP. He did not stat pad when the opportunity was there. But we are so lucky to have the best QB who is only 23.

  4. 13 wins as well! Heavy on him and his closest competitor’s stats against the same opponents as well:

    Drake Maye: 1,585 yards, 13 TD, 3 INT 6W-0L

    Matthew Stafford: 1,545 yards, 14 TD, 6 INT 4W-2L

    M(aye)VP!

  5. 113.5 Passer rating over 17 starts for the 2 seed is clear MVP numbers you ask me. And Drake is better against common opponents than Stafford.

  6. I had high hopes for Maye coming in to this season, delighted to see him absolutely smash them really.

Halfway through the year I was telling myself “At some point he will trend back a bit” but at this point even if he does regress a little he’ll still be a top 10 QB. Unbelievable year for the guy.

  7. Think too many people with votes treating it like a lifetime achievement award since Stafford hasn’t gotten it yet so they ignore the metrics and had their mind made up weeks ago

  8. Dude already became one of the tippy top elite QBs in the NFL in his second year. What a special player Drake Maye is.

  9. MVP and not even close. Stat Padford getting dragged into the 4th by the backup Arizona Cardinals is all you need to know. Maye would have had 5 TDs and been pulled at halftime in the same spot.

  10. feels like its going to be a toss up between him and stafford. Great years for both, depends if the voters like the volume or efficiency more! Maye did a lot more on the ground too and they do seem to be taking that into account in recent votes so maybe thats enough to swing it to Maye.

In terms of efficiency Maye has a slightly higher NY/A Stafford has a higher ANY/A. I’d argue Maye is more efficient any both those stats ignore scrambles for yards resulting in them overly punishing sacks for mobile guys.

In terms of volume Stafford has a pretty sizeable lead.

In terms of team success and yards on the ground Maye has a lead.

I think they’ll lean to stafford just from past history but it should be a close vote.

  11. Joe mazzula mindset – if he doesn’t win MVP, even better so that he’s super motivated next season

  12. Monster statline could’ve been even higher had we stat padded this week and last week

  13. I never thought I would love a player like I loved Brady. It’s amazing how much Drake has done to challenge that in one regular season. Love to watch him every week

  14. This sounds salty, but the stat padding by the rams felt pathetic. Everyone knew what they were doing and it clearly means a lot to Stafford

  15. Shameful to see Brady parrot the lfietime achievement award position for staff. I love brady, but man you cant be more off with that comment.

  16. Brady just picked Stafford over maye for mvp because maye has many more seasons ahead of him. Love ya TB but terrible take.

  17. Couple things I just pulled that *should* help Maye:

*Tied for best record in NFL.

    *Undefeated on the Road

*LAR 518 points, NE 490 points. However advanced metrics show the Pats as the most efficient offense with MUCH less firepower.

*Maye 450 rush yds and 4 TDs on the ground.

*72% Completion percentage, YPA, EPA. Elevated those around him.

*Largest improvement in wins in NFL history

  18. been a while we had a 4k yard QB.

SUCK IT REST OF THE LEAGUE, OUR GUY CAN QB!!!

  19. Just crazy that in 2026 we’re talking about a QB having a >70% completion, almost 5k yards and 35TDs and how he probably *isn’t* going to win MVP

In 2001 you would have been elected Christ with those numbers

  20. The 23 year old Maye had an epic season and should be the front runner for MVP, but a soon to be 38 year old QB named Stafford who is in the tail end of his career and never won the award… is probably the sentimental favorite. Voters could see Maye as having many years ahead of him to win the award whereas the window is closing for Stafford.

  21. I thought he was gonna be a 12-15 picks a season type guy extremely pleased with his growth and what he did this year blew my expectations out the water!

  22. Drake is more fun to watch than any qb in the NFL right now. We are so lucky.

  23. I told my girlfriend I would order his jersey if he won MVP

He started today as the front runner. He did his job. Kicked Miami’s ass to get the 2 seed. Ethical hoops at the goal line. Sat after going up 38-10.

And the betting markets have his odds go down?

That’s crazy. He did his job. MVP-level guy. I just ordered his jersey
