Normally I don't like to agree with you Grant, but this was beyond AWFUL! How in the HELL do you go from throwing 5 CDs to a total THREE points? WTF? This was a really important game, and it looked like the team didn't even give a shit. Shanahan deserves a HUGE portion of this loss. Defense can't do well with only a minutes rest off the field…Now the trip to the east coast, to face Barkley and Hurts instead of home field advantage and a week of rest…wow, utterly pathetic. This game is where you suck up the pain (Williams, perusall) , and give it 110% to get that week off, but now…oh well…just disgusting, and almost seems rigged. I'm never going to be a fan of any other team than the 9ers, but the fans deserve soooo much more than this shit.
The reason why Sean McVey and Andy Reid are probably the best in the game is because they know how to use their whole arsenal throughout the game and year. Kyle uses about 70 percent of it and overworks key offensive pieces, while having alot of speed and talent just sitting on the sidelines wasted. That why I don't blame lynch for this teams failures because hes not the one under untilzing this roster.
Guys, Niners are mediocre, we’ve been mediocre all season. Some have said we are Super Bowl bound, I seriously wish this was the case but it unfortunately is not. First round of playoffs and we are out.
Grant, the defense was horrible. The Seahawks ran the ball unabated, we had zero pass rush, zero. Our defense sucked.

When you have a bad to average offensive line and bad to average defensive line, you can beat bad teams, you can’t beat particularly good teams. This team shows the arrogance of Lynch and Shanahan, thinking they can win with Madden 65-68 quality players, there has been NO EMPHASIS on tackling all year, the BASICS of football, tackling, getting off blocks, opening up running lanes, this team lacks physicality
To be fair to the D, they had a number of TFL. They could not close out third downs though

This entire video and line of thinking completely negates the fact that they were playing the best defense in the league. At no point did you stop to consider “Hey, maybe that has something to do with it!”
Y’all have a baller offense, but the Hawks have a baller defense and it’s on a different level than any other team with the exception of the Texans. That matters man.

Shanahan didn't even bother trying to win the game with the biggest playoff implications!!! He called that game like they were out of the playoffs and had nothing to play for!!!! Shanahan is a joke in the 49ers need to hire a real offensive coordinator because Shanahan will never win a Super bowl calling the plays!!! Shanahan is the Dusty Baker of the NFL he'll get you to the playoffs then figure out a way to lose!!!!

The "unwavering belief of Kyle" was shattered when the 49ers lost their second Super Bowl with him as HC a few years ago. And they lost it in bad fashion because they didn't know how the new OT rules worked. Which is insane for a playoffs bound team and a coach considered among the NFL's best. He didn't prepare his team for the biggest moment, a moment that for many payers will be their only time to be in the biggest stage of their sport. That loss broke something in Deebo Samuel and he's gone now.
I still hold the first SB loss to the Chiefs when the 49ers didn't run the ball against Kyle. Just like the Falcons losing the SB to the Pats because they didn't run the ball and he was OC for that team.
I'm really worried about their upcoming game against the Eagles. Shannahan goes on these streaks where he looks like the best HC out there and then just drops a deuce on a big game.
If we lose wildcard or even playoffs fire shanahan and hire Andy Reid or bill belichick or even promote saleh to hc or something

I’ve been saying this before, Shanahan is a great scheme designer. But he’s not a great play caller.
