Nah. If this is credible I'm out for next season. I'd rather watch Cooper and the Lightning be competitive than watch the Bucs flounder around with another year of this bullshit.

  2. Tbf that article is based on a Schefter segment that had Bowles and Morris “leaning safe” which aired like an hour before Morris was fired lol.

    I am really starting to feel like it won’t happen.

  6. I don’t know if he gets fired, I don’t really expect it to happen, but the Bucs ownership typically doesn’t fire coaches immediately after the season ends. If you look at Arians (pushed to retire), Gruden (fired about 3 weeks after season’s end), and Dungy (who also had his Monday conference), it seems the owners take their time with firings. That being said I’m not sure I expect it but it’s definitely being considered.

  8. I have to believe Arians has a hand in this with his bullshit lobbying for Bowles.

    I appreciate him for his work on our Superbowl run, but he crippled this team by forcing Todd Bowles on us after his retirement and further by continuing to lobby for him if he ultimately doesn’t get the boot.

  9. Fuck the Glazers then. No reason to watch this team if they roll out the same bullshit. Bowles sucks at his job and can’t get with the times. He’s too conservative and can’t make a proper play call when it matters.

  10. Well I won’t be buying any tickets until there is a change made. Expecting different results from the past 4 years is foolish and I am not ok with mediocrity.

  13. I had a feeling this would be the case after the win in the last game. The D actually played fairly well…although I think that was more that Carolina played very poorly and the rain played a part. I will be interested to see if there’s any staff changes.

    One thing is for certain…they better address the defense and get an edge rusher and an ILB to replaced David with our first two picks. They need to seriously overhaul our front 7 other than Vita Vea. Hopefully Kancey can also stay healthy next season.

  19. I’m 100% not watching this crap again next season. Every year under Bowles this team underperformed based on the talent on the roster. I literally Never remember watching a game where I thought Bowles out coached the other team as a HC. Every offseason polls come out ranking head coaches. Some voted on by players, some by media, some by front office people. And every one has him somewhere between 25-32. I have been a bucs fan for a very long team. Even in the truly dark days, I don’t remember seeing a more lifeless, directionless team than this year.

    Nah this is probably worst case. I’d rather roll the dice on somebody new, preferably younger and offensive minded. The game has simply passed him by, and that’s only one of the litany of reasons why he’s not a good head coach. I’m really hoping they’re just playing it close to the chest. If he comes back next year, I don’t think the players will have any confidence in the staff whatsoever.

  24. Looks like I am not watching any games next year. Done watching the same thing over and over.

  25. So next year will be worse than this year and then full on rebuild in 2027. Insane to me that our ownership is so comfortable being mediocre.
