Last night's 2nd half was another example of the obvious: we are a better team when Ware is involved in the offense. It made me curious to see who on the team actually looks for Ware the most. The above table shows assists thrown to Ware. (Data from https://www.pbpstats.com/assist-networks/nba/team?Season=2025-26&SeasonType=Regular%2BSeason&TeamId=1610612748)
Davion is a given, and Jaime and Pelle pass the eye test. Most surprising to me is Bam only assisting Ware 7 times this season. The big-to-big connection we were hoping for hasn't really materialized yet

Its not surprising. The offense is being built around davion initiating the offense. He dominates the touches on the floor which means others cant really facilitate. Its much harder to get the asts numbers without touches. Its why every players asts% is down by 50%. Its not just bam, its EVERYONES.
What’s surprising is how little davion asts ware. A huge lob threat and a 40% 3 pt shooter not getting any touches, say something.
Not sure why you are surprised Bam doesn’t feed Ware. Bam normally averages 3 assists a game.
Davion being our main point makes sense. The only surprise here is how well Jaime is helping facilitate the game.
I’m all for pushing the Ware agenda but we were far up ahead before the remaining 4th quarter of Ware offense.
Davion passes to anyone but ware a lot of times, Jaime and pelle are the only ones who consistently pass to him. norm just doesn’t pass but its excused because dude is scoring like an all nba caliber player.. dru our back up pg is selfish once he gets in the paint.
Jovic is capable and I think will eventually look to facilitate more as hes gotten his groove back. bam has regressed considerably, wiggins has tunnel vision and I dont expect the others to pass to Ware so yea.
