Adam Schefter, ESPN, on Mike McDaniel’s future:

If they were making a decision today he is back. But there will be conversations in the organization that help determine his future. But he’s a valued offensive mind. And right now Miami would keep him today.”

  1. Realistically, Jeff Hafley or Vance Joseph. Who I would rather have is Mike McCarthy or John Harbaugh. Honestly, I would be happy with a blow-up doll at this point, as long as they replace McDaniel

  2. This is beyond easy and this organization is a joke. McDaniel absolutely should’ve been fired a long time ago. This owner has a terrible habit of complacency. The win loss record after being behind at halftime, says everything. Fire him!

  3. Maybe they are going to hire a new GM and let him decide? If they get into a situation where the GM candidate is told they have to keep McDaniel then trust me, WE ARE IN TROUBLE!

  4. Beem Saying since the Start of the Season John Mckay is the best fit. But i also think we should hire a HC first then get a GM to compliment them but either way John is the best fit for a GM. he Finds gems look at the Ram's team they have always picked good players.

  5. I'd hire Robert Saleh. He would toughen up the defense which has been soft under Anthony Weaver.. He could command a room in my mind and bring discipline which this team is sorely missing.

  6. Mike has been a failure. He’s only won 2-3 games without Tua. Other coaches can win consistently w backups. GB, CB, BLT, SF. He gotta go

  7. He doesn’t deserve to be renewed. He can barely speak and has the gravitas of a CPA. It is clear that he cannot rally the team or make adjustments at halftime. We need a strong coach in the mold of Dan Campbell or Mike Vrabel. Higher the GM and let him fire Mike McDaniels.

  8. Your Offensive Genius hasn't scored a POINT in the 3rd Quarter for 2 Months. If the Dolphins wait to fire McDaniel the best Head Coaches will have already been hired by other Teams. All of the decent Players on the Dolphins should call their Agents and ask for a trade or release including Ewers this Ross Franchise unfortunately is terrible 😢

  9. How could he keep Mike. An don't know how he's still considered an offensive genius. He's a shell of what he was 1st year. We never have creative plays. Most games now are all short an screen passes. An how come Mike never got none of the blame for tuas record on road an against winning teams? He's had even worst record without tua. He's terrible at challenges. He can't adjust at halftime. If they have a good first half there offensive goes into shell 2nd half. What I don't understand is if u watch last game he was calling in plays 8-10 seconds sooner then every game with tua. With tua every play was called in late an would be at 17-18 seconds before tua would get call an start calling play an end up snapping with 3-2-1 seconds left why have they never gotten plays in sooner an give tua a chance to read defense an call a audible? He never had a chance isn't that part of being a QB. I just don't know how we can or should be happy with 10-12 pick every year an start shitty but end good just to be at a 8-9 / 9-8 team. He's not the answer. Either is ewers he looked ok 1st half besides last minute but 2nd half was some terrible throws. Dumb throws

  10. Based on news that Miami requesting to interview members of 49ers front office McDaniel is staying they are looking for a GM that KNOWS what type of players are needed to MAKE THAT PARTICULAR OFFENSE WORK cause that is system McDaniel came from

  11. Forget about Quinn Ewers as our starter we need to just stick with Tua. We need to draft best player available at our positions of need RT RG TE WR CB S ED RB. Fire Mike McDaniel.

  12. It's an easy decision. McDaniel is not qualified to be a head coach. But Miami also has the longest drought without a playoff win in all of major sports, so there's that.
