How good is Keyonte George? Ascending Jazz star has a Jamal Murray ceiling … and a Monta Ellis floor

Except that George has already far surpassed what Murray did when he was 22. He’s getting to the line double what Murray has ever been able to do, which hints at a higher peak.
In fact his numbers are pretty much the same as what Jamal Murray is doing this year, so to say that’s his ceiling implies that this is as good as Keyonte George will ever get, which seems wrong given he’s 22 and Murray is 28.
Good news is, Keyonte’s already accomplished a floor that is higher than peak Monta Ellis. He already averages a full assist higher per game than Ellis ever did, and has matched his top year in PPG average. Also, KG’s eFG% this year tops Ellis…who didn’t even get above 50% in his highest scoring seasons.
