  1. Was wandering around UIC’s west campus a few months ago and stumbled upon the location of the “Chicago Ball Club’s” first stadium at Taylor and Wood, the West Side Grounds. Fittingly, the site of the Cubs’s first ballpark is now occupied by a psychiatric/pharmacy building. Their current ballpark is often packed with psychiatric patients and pharmacological abusers.
