8. Let’s bring this back to earth on Mendoza. He’s a prospect, not a savior. There’s no consensus QB1 this year, no “can’t-miss” talent, and Mendoza hasn’t separated himself to that level. Draft position doesn’t guarantee development, fit, or success, especially with an unstable organization. Acting like one pick fixes everything is how teams stay bad. Evaluate the player, the system, and the timeline, not the hype.

9. Everybody is saying to bring back Gruden, and I don't disagree. However, offensive line needs to be priority 1 for the Raiders. They will do NOTHING without putting all their focus into their offensive line. Doesn't matter who the coach is. Also, get a new offensive coordinator. That is priority 2. I probably would've stuck with Pete because of the turnover and just changed coordinator and put heavy draft stock into the offensive line after QB. If year 2 is bad, move on from Pete. But that's just me.

    These last couple of decades it seems the only consistency in the Raider organization is multiple losses in a season , veteran and rookie quarterbacks coming there to end their careers, and coach fired at the end of the season !

29. This organization is very dumb. They hire a coach expecting a one-trick pony and turn the team into a playoff team and when it doesn’t happen, they fire him and move on. They need to focus on getting the right players for the team. Screw hiring & firing coaches every year.
