Why this Patriots’ season is a success no matter what | Jones & Keefe
The Patriots finished with a 14-3 record, a 10-game difference from the 4-13 finish in 2024. Their 10-game improvement tied the 1999 Colts and the 2008 Dolphins for the best turnaround in NFL history. On top of that, they won the AFC East for the first time since Tom Brady left. That makes for a successful season, no matter. Adam Jones and Rich Keefe discuss.

I didn't expect them to win 14 games. I didn't expect them to get to the playoffs. I still don't expect them to get to the Super Bowl. I hoped for all those things, though.
And yet they keep finding ways to defy my expectations. This was a impressive year regardless. They should be proud of themselves.
When your projected W-L record was a ceiling of "7-9" at the start of the season, this year is an absolute success. You could not imagine a better turn around and situation moving forward.
