[James Palmer] Nagy is a free agent. His contract is essentially up with the Chiefs. From their time in KC there is obviously a very good relationship between Nagy and Titans GM Mike Borgonzi.

  1. Gosh I would HATE if the Titans took such a valuable asset. I would really *really* hate it. It’d be a shame if that happened

  2. I’m in the minority and will get downvoted into eternity, but I was holding out faint hope that Andy would retire. Not sure his message is taking root the way it used to. He’s earned the right to call it a career whenever he wants to, but this feels like a perfect fork in the road to establish a new foundation for the second half of Mahomes’ career while honoring the amazing accomplishments of the first half.

  3. Titans can’t stop screwing everything up. Sadly I’m not sure a high end candidate would want to step into that situation, even with such a high pick in 26.

  4. Which begs the question: if he does move on, who would you like to see be the next OC?

  5. Who calls the plays? Does anyone know? I think Mahomes called half of them while the play is going on, then you have Andy. This is really early in the off season. We lose Nagy and we are screwed, get rid of him he was the prob. Too much talk about talk..

  6. Turned Patrick Mahomes from the most dynamic QB in the game into a league average QB

Takes a lot of hard work to accomplish that feat

  7. If you work for another team and are reading this: he is the best coach in the history of the NFL. You want him. Take him.

  8. I’m sort of in “be careful what you wish for” territory, but … after the last two seasons, we need to shake up the offensive scheme and perhaps Nagy leaving makes that more likely.

But in reality, we had a mediocre run game, a mediocre O-line, and a mediocre receiving corps. You can probably survive one or even two of those three, but not all three at the same time.
