5. That’s the biggest problem right now. They’re so bad defensively that they’re going to have to bust their ass this offseason just to try to make the defense AVERAGE. Not great, just average. It’s definitely going to take more than 1 offseason to make this into a great defense again.

20. Average defenders would have this team in the playoffs. Go get quality FAs, draft some studs, and hire a great DC that makes sure their scheme fits their players

24. If you know you’re going to need another offseason, why would you knowingly overpay and push your chance at a Super Bowl back? Listening to some of this, it sounds like they’re trying to just overpay for mediocre players and get back to the one and down, maybe two and go home.

40. These free agents named are, like you guys say, not by any means superstars, but they are significant upgrades. It really points out just how poorly the last 5 years cowboys drafts have been.
