1. The definition of insanity – doing the same thing OVER AND OVER and expecting the same result. Chris Ballard CANNOT ASSEMBLE A WINNING TEAM LET ALONE A PLAYOFF TEAM. This is now established fact.

2. First I want to say I am not thrilled with Ballard returning, but….
   Carlie would be the first to admit that she has a lot to learn.
   It would be very unwise of her to make major changes while she’s still leaning how to guide this organization. Carlie needs another year of watching the draft process and being on the sidelines during games. She basically stated that she’s giving them one more season to make major progress. I’m not thrilled by it, but she needs to be confident in her decisions.
   I do believe she would benefit from having a trusted and unbiased advisor assisting her in evaluating Ballard and Steichen.

4. I checked the record for all four teams in our division since 2017which was Ballard first year, let the record speak for itself,
   1. Colts 31-23.
   Houston 28-26. Head to head 10-8
   Jacksonville 25-29. Head to head 9-9
   Tennessee 24-30. Head to head 12-6

8. I checked the division wins and playoff record since Ballard has been here, 2017.

   Houston – 4 Division Titles, 2 playoff wins.
   
   Jacksonville – 3 Division Titles, 3 playoff wins
   
   Tennessee – 2 Division Titles, 2 Wild Cards, 3 playoff wins

   Colts – ZERO DIVISION TITLES, 2 WILD CARDS, ONE playoff win, SEVEN YEARS AGO.

   The Colts currently have the 4th longest playoff drought in the NFL, only trailing the Jets, Falcons and Saints.

   BALLARD is the ONLY COMMON DENOMINATOR since 2017, everything else has been turned over, even the ownership has changed hands now.

   THERE IS NO ONE ELSE TO BLAME BUT BALLARD.

9. Probably just rolling over, got no 1st rounders for two years so why even try?? That's just what I heard. A bunch of conflicting statements that basically says to me that ownership has given up… at least until contracts have been fully played out next season.

If Jones gets hurt again you give Richardson his final shot if he bombs you go Full Riley Leonard …. i think a big reason Ballard is being retained is to give Steichen another year, and not having a Lame Duck situation, and they dont have a 1st round pick for the next 2 seasons, letting the Gardner trade fully play out… and if Ward comes back he needs to wear a Guardian Cap….

13. Not surprised about anything related to this clown show organization and it is why I haven't given them money for an extremely long time. They don't deserve it. Hell the entire NFL is trash too and I haven't given the league money either.

15. This is a genuine question. Whats the point of her being on the sidelines for all these years if she’s only going to go off of one year of results? If she really has been trying to learn and get ready for this very moment for all these years, then why only go off this year? I don’t get it. Her explanations were really flimsy, and half hearted. As a broke college kid watching from across the country; I feel like I’m putting more effort into just watching this team, then the billionaire owner caring about the team she owns.

    She seems like a good person and I know it’s a tough decision, but if a record breaking losing streak doesn’t do it, what will?

16. Ballard is not a success story. This reminds me so much of what the cubs did. They have a GM who isn’t good and then extended him. Keeping Ballard is insane to me. When will he be held accountable?

18. 8-2 did happen . 2 wins over the Titans with the Raiders Dolphins Cardinals and Falcons. All those teams minus the Dolphins are looking for new coaches. 5 wins over sub par competition . Only 2 wins against teams over 500.

20. I think, it would cost too much to cut Ballard. You would owe him his last year and you would need pay new person too. I think Shane is not head coach material and absolutely does not adjust well. But if you have to keep Ballard one more year you would not want him picking your new coach. I think, she did what she had too. But after next year she will be free to bring in whom she pleases. Locker room needs some cleaning as well! Example tell Pittman to take pay cut or be cut. He not very good. Need to make
    PIERCE a priority! Trade Richardson. Maybe do something with running back room. I remember when they traded Marshall Faulk. I about rocked my car! But it worked out fine!!! Problem is defensive issues.

23. They have problems with injuries because Ballard has missed on too many draft picks. Thats the difference. Those guys are who become your back ups

29. Plan for 2026 is to run it back and hope for something like the 2025 Seahawks. No point in giving a new HC and GM this boat without a rudder aka franchise QB or even the draft ability to get one.

30. Oddball press conference full of contradictions. On one hand "Injuries are no excuse", then on the other hand, she's blaming injuries on the 2nd half the of season meltdown?????? You can't win ONE FRIGGIN' GAME of the last 7, NOT ONE, no fight at all to win even a game??? Unbelievable. Chris Ballard didn't just get hired and have one bad season, it's a pattern of losing and losing when all the chips are down. The incompetence starts at the top and is a trickle down, we're in big trouble.

32. OK, but the first half of the season was all against dog shit teams minus the Broncos and the Chargers. And it’s fair to say the refs bailed us out versus Denver and the Chargers were injury ridden at every position

37. The Irsay daughters reasons for keeping Steichen and Ballard are purely financial; they don't want to pay for new leadership.
    Ballard's contract is up next season. That's when he'll leave the Colts organization. Stiechen's contract is up in 2029. I wouldn't expect him to get fired until 2027 at the earliest.

39. I think the other issue is that the picture a lot of the colts media is painting is wrong. Did we finish the season 0-7? Yes. Did we get dominated in every single one of those games? Absolutely not! We were competitive in almost every one of those games, WITH the amount of terrible injuries we had!

    And even on top of that, in games since I think it’s week 9-10 that could’ve affected the colts playoffs odds, they were 0-17!!! That’s CRAZY unlucky!!! I really think this season just got super unfortunate super fast, but I think we were closer than a lot of the media wants to say. We were 2 points away from beating Seattle in Seattle with Philip Rivers and practice squad corners. That’s the #1 seed in the nfc. Did we get dominated in the Jags game? Yes, DJ went down. Did we get dominated in the Niners game? Yes, and that one really hurt. And the last two games of the season we knew we weren’t getting into the playoffs, the players were not playing as hard no matter what we’d like. The fact we could’ve gone 10-7 and still missed the playoffs is insane.

    But yeah, I really think a lot of fans and media are overreacting, and I’m excited to next year with (hopefully) a full year of Sauce and DJ, plus Latu continuing to get better, and Walley and Wohler back!
