The Yankees Offseason Is Finally Taking Shape
For the first time this offseason, the Yankees’ direction is starting to come into focus.
This video isn’t about one move or one player — it’s about how the pieces are beginning to line up. From lineup construction and roster fit to coaching responsibility and overall philosophy, this feels like the start of a clearer offseason plan.
I break down what’s actually encouraging, where the Yankees still need to be better, and why the early signs matter more than headlines or rumors. This is about process, not panic — and why how the Yankees build matters just as much as who they add.
👇 Let me know your take: does this feel like the right start to the offseason, or is there still work to be done?

Clint Cohen went and overpaid Soto to entertain his fan base to then let everybody else walk . He does care about taxes
What s up Clint ?
They should go after Tucker instead of Belli and replace Volpe and Mcmahon but won’t do anything like that
I would like them to sign bichette and bellinger but idk what the hell is going to happen with this ownership 🙄
Jazz did fine at 3B. Bichette to 2B. And they can sign Belli as well. They have $70M coming off the books by the end of 2027.
Cody is a Good player definitely the second best all around player after Judge it’s crazy to think a deal hasn’t been reached alter making me think the Yankees offer isn’t a good deal for Cody. We trust you Clint . I definitely trust you. The Edward Cabrera UCL minor tear that’s being leaked makes me think the prospects aren’t going to be top tier prospects…Ben Hess and Dillion Lewis sound about right but again if it’s that close why hasn’t it been done yet? It all sounds like a ploy that the Yankees are trying to make people think they have things in the pipeline ready to pull the trigger…when in reality it’s all smoke and mirrors and nothings going to happen
YO' CLINT,,,,YOU ARE DOING AN AWESOME JOB MY BROTHER,,,I ALWAYS ROOTED FOR YOU WITH MY YANKEES!!!!!
Yankees leadership is weak, the Mets will get the ring before the Yankees.
Drive to the price and dump Cody on them. Hes not great, so why pay him like he's great? Hes up and down every other year and getting older. Get Michelle, play jones, dominguez
Man! If they sign Bichette and Bellinger, how bad of gamble could it be to sign two studs! Is it really that bad of risk? Add another top tier pitcher to the mix and you may well just win another championship! Would not the revenue of winning a championship counter effect any loss? If there is any loss! Lol!
The only pushback I have is to the idea of not looking at this season as all in. The reason is that Aaron Judge is approaching his mid-30s. Whenever he slows down this colossal production, the Yankees' window shuts down a significant amount. These prime years of Aaron Judge need to be considered irreplaceable, premium commodities. They should be trying to surround Judge with great players. Judge should serve as a sense of urgency for the Yankees. It started to look like they understood that when they traded for Juan Soto, and then offered him 700+ Million. The best players on the market should be in play. These Cashman depth moves are ok, but he needs to get serious. The Yankees need an infielder, an outfielder, a starter, and at least 1 more high-leverage bullpen arm.
No days off 😴💪
Bichette, with all his shortcomings at defense would still be a huge upgrade over Volpe!
how do you not give donny baseball a job smh worst organization ever
Red Thunder…let’s gooo
Cody does everything you need. All the outfield, 1st and hits. Bichette should be signed for short. He can throw and catch a grounder. You need a year and the Lombard is the SS. 300ml won't do it because of all the bad money spent to players not even worth the money. Still paying DJL is dumbass money. Paying McMahon is really stupid money. You want to win you will need to spend and be creative to get rid of the waste.
Clint are you in contact with your fellow ex Yankees teammate Jobs Chamberlain? He has a YouTube channel too.
They need to let go of volpe for Christ sakes lol😆😆
Yankees should have signed the Japanese slugger the Blue Jays signed. They completely missed the boat on that one. A relatively cheap contract for a much needed right handed bat that can play first, third, and left. That one just made too much sense! Cashman sucks!
Bruh… Cash is cooking up Dino nuggets in a microwave not even a air fryer right now 😂
Do you think a guy like Cuban should publicly say he wants to buy the Yankees if no salary cap is implemented
A) either Hal folds and sells (don’t think that would happen) B) the public attention that it would draw would put more pressure on Hal to spend
I would rather have Cuban and give Preller the GM spot rather than Hal n Cashman
Clint I love you I was there at your rookie debut game and me and grandfather still talk about you to this day and he’s been a Yankee fan for 40+ years and I’ve been for a about 10-12+ years
Yanks ain’t getting anything worth jack shit this off-season!
are you optimistic the yankees will get anything big done this offseason?
Clint whats your thoughts on cashman?
Clint, you have the aura, voice, and insight for podcasting. Great work and Go Yanks
I recently heard that a lot of teams now see a big red flag with Kyle Tucker. After he broke his hand and came back, Tucker didn't hit a home run until his 25th game back. Tucker also had a calf injury. So he had 22 home runs and 73 RBIs. Those are disappointing numbers for a player that wants a $400 million dollars contract.
This was dumb. Give Cody what he wants. That’s the same thinking that got us stuck with DJs contract. Fans like you were like “give him whatever he wants” and now we’re stuck with that horrible contract. If Cody wants 7-8 years, give him whatever he wants? His agent is Boras. 🤡
On tonight’s Yankees Hot Stove, Jack Curry and Michael Kay break down the latest news surrounding Cody Bellinger’s free agency.… Se
Will Edward Cabrera be wearing pinstripes next season? Michael Kay and Jack Curry discuss the possibility of the right-handed pitcher ending up in the Bronx.
Found your channel today. New SUB here. Enjoyed your insights.
Clint just stumbled on your channel. I like your perspective on the Yanks . Good info, no BS . Keep it coming .
"Ultimately, probably the number one reason I came to do this was to try to help us get a championship."
Aaron Boone describes his desire to win the Yankees' 28th World Series title to Michael Kay and Jack Curry.
Personally, I would offer Cody 4 at 84 Millions and tell him to take or leave it. He was pretty much nonexistent during the playoffs. I'll pass on Tucker since he's wanting 11 years and nearly 400 Million dollars. A total joke. Bo Bichette, I'm not sure why the Blue Jays haven't offered him a contract, but just for the satisfaction of taking him from the Jays, I'll give him a contract. It feels the Yankee brass won't make any significant moves this off season. Billionaire boy Hal is broke. He's barely eating
The Yankees should sign Bichette and move him to second and either trade Jazz or move him back to third. Bo is a good contact hitter and could help score a lot of runs and lets not forget how well he handled pressure in the World Series.
Hello i was wondering if you want a side kick for your live pods with Yankees knowledge and inputs to make topics that are unique and I have charisma. And lots of baseball knowledge and a autograph birthday card from George Steinbrenner LOL just wondering Peace. And Yankees Rule
So typical of the Yankees….spend the last 3-4 seasons playing Mediocre players out of positions…then Bichette is available and it’s “we don’t know where we’d put him” pathetic.
Clint do you regret anything from your career?
Also is there anything you could do or couldve done to keep playing?
Put on a glove and take your bat to tampa…yanks need you…
Clint. First off I liked/like you. I thought you got a raw deal , here.
Question:
If a guy is hitting.219, playing average D, not hitting with runners in scoring position, and still playing everyday. How’s the clubhouse responding to seeing that everyday. Does skip lose credibility?
I’m obviously talking about volpe! And should he have his position on lock once he comes back?
🙏🏾
GET RID OF VOLPE! AND WELLS THEY STINK! JUST LIKE THE FRONT OFFICE THE YANKEES ARE ACTING LIKE THE NATIONALS!
Baseball ⚾ in Heaven…. Yo Clint… Ya SKUBAL or no .. may be Gumby… As only two good in post season… Takes two Pitchers to win WS… BICHETTE a good bet as hit in post season not Bell or Tuck… God Jesus bless US Y USA Y YANKS at Christmas… A gift of 28th .. great
Clint, why can they sign Cody and get Bo for 2B/3B, keep Volpe at SS when he returns, keep Jazz at 2B/3B trade either Jones or Dominguez for great reliever or starter since they are not playing much?
I truly doubt Yankees will spend money this offseason. Just like Soto and Yamamoto, they want to look like they are willing to spend, but this close to CBA, I don’t think for a minute they will sign anyone major. Gap with Jays too large and only getting bigger.
Yankees off season is finally taking shape. That’s kind of funny.!
