Love the speed, and more importantly that he doesn’t overuse it.
I’m a little surprised we don’t utilize more qb design runs, not necessarily a lot of them per say, but like 1 a game just to make the defense aware of it.
I love that he doesn’t run too often. I’ve seen too many qbs with talemt shorten their career by running recklessly. He runs but also avoids contact. I didn’t realize how fast he was though, wow.
Makes sense cuz i’ve been blown away by his speed a few times this season
His longest runs are 29, 22, and 17 and 16.
So at least 1 of these 20+ mph runs was in the 13-14 yard range. Thats not just speed, that’s insane acceleration.
