Lost again today to the Hornets

We ain’t doing so hot either but losses against Portland and Utah (maybe) are more acceptable

  2. First off, let’s chill on the Hornets hate, they are not bad – just inconsistent.

    I also think it might be a locker room problem. Usually teams would slump right away – after coming off a title – not 1/3 through the season.

    Whatever it is though, they will get over it soon enough.

  4. Hornets are clicking. They did have some top draft picks too that are doing well and delivering on their promise (LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Kon Knueppel). And OKC had a bad night at the office against the Suns the previous day.

    And I think Chris Finch’s ejection also made the officating more balanced. Previously the Thunder defence could almost get away with anything and the Thunder could flop their way to the FT line.

    Teams are also figuring out that the Thunder has only SGA as their offence in the half court, J-Dub is still not himself, and they are also out their two of their centers that help with the rebounding. Coupled with SGA looking more human than MVP in recent games, and we got a small slump by the champions.

  6. Spurs kinda broke themselves, too. Spurs are 2-3. It would be more telling if the Spurs were right over their shoulder for best record, and/or Jokic was still tug-o-warring with SGA for MVP

  7. spurs play the hornets at the end of the month. the way our games have been going recently, i definitely expect them to knock down all their 3s against us.

  11. Allow me to say this but losing to Utah is UNACCEPTABLE even though the Hornets beat OKC 😭

  12. This is their first loss to a bad team. It happens. They’re fine until they relinquish the 1 seed at the very least.

  13. It’s a long season guys teams go through streaks good and bad even good teams. Go look it up but Shaq and Kobe Lakers, Duncan Spurs had rough stretches as well. Even Jordan, Magic, Bird, Lebron teams had bad streaks it just happens in 82 games

  14. Tbh we had one of the easiest opening schedules in the league. We’ve also not had our full squad since we played yall. iHart, Mitchell, Wiggs, Caruso, etc. all been interchangeably injured or resting. No excuses for the falloff. We look like shit lately. Can’t hit the broad side of a barn from 3 for the last month.

    I was skeptical of all the reg season record talks. It was a distraction and our heads got too big. It’s nice to see them getting humbled. Hope they learn from this stretch.
