The Chicago Bears now prepare for postseason play after falling to the Detroit Lions in NFL Week 18. Ben Johnson didn’t mince words when speaking both at halftime and after the game. At halftime, Johnson said, “This was one of the easier gameplans we’ve had all year. We just need to execute better.” After the game, the first-year head coach said the offense simply didn’t score enough points. You know that Defense deserved an F. The only reason they scored so low was because Cambell gifted them 2 drives on some silly ass trick plays that had he just run the ball this game would have been out of hand.
Ok i like lance but he acts like that lovie D was the steel curtain lol. They had some good years, but they gave up alot of yards. Also, takeaways was also how that lovie defense got by on.

I always say I just love having Lance be on these. I hope he never ever leaves these podcasts.
I love Lance but let’s not pretend they had all the answers. Their bend but don’t break style was infuriating, especially after the 2006 season. There was plenty of wide open receivers all over the place in that defense, but, they were really good against the run.

The problem with the lions match up right now is they know Ben’s offense better than the Bears do and it’s very personal to them. Remember when Ben got hired the lions players took it as a betrayal.

Briggs was a great LB but saying with 70 snaps the player should have 30 tackles is full of shit. His best year he averaged 8 tackles a game.
Is Lance still eligible for HOF? Because he absolutely deserves to be in if Brian is.
The defense was horrible!
