With Zucker back my first instinct would not be to give Östlund less ice time.
1st line is mean, 4th line is a sleeper
norris/zuck/tuch sounds dangerous, but i really liked ostland/norris/tuch too.
Lindy trying to get himself fired again.
Switch Benson and krebs plz
Not sure what kind of blackmail Krebs has on Ruff, but it’s gotta be really good
If these lines play next game I’m also going to have to question Ruff. Krebs remaining on the first line while Ostlund is moved to fourth line center is plain stupidity.
If they’re running odd looking lines in practice maybe there’s chemistry, I’m open to the possibility of new combos potentially unlocking guys’ production until they show us otherwise.
Lots of factors go into a coaches lines . Home ice advantage and last change . Visiting teams line and their choice to rotate them.
Game day skate line combos are not alway the way the lines will be to start the game.
That 4 th line has a chance to score goals vs the Canucks and those guys also kill penalties.
I don’t know man, put ostlund where Quinn is and replace Quinn with Dunne and we’re good.
But that’s me, and these decisions are made by smarter people than I. Or at least I like to think that.
On what planet is Ostlund on the 4th line and Krebs on the first? Welcome to the Sabrehood.
Quinn should be bumped out of the lineup
Not sure what the analytics say, but I’m so over Greenway. We’ve got other dogs, other guys who kill penalties… give me someone with more skill.
Thought last game was the last for Krebs on the 1st line. He’s been solid during the streak but I would like someone with more skill on that line, having Doan and Krebs seems unnecessary.
Still going with quinn and Greenway huh? Time for them to hit the trade block
My real concern isnt so much with the forward groups. Those are pretty close to optimal, depending on your opinion of strategy and utility. I can see Krebs in a few spots depending on your strategy.
Based on the most recent game, im very concerned about Bryson and Metsa. I think Metsa is perfectly competent with a decent partner. But he and Bryson looked extremely vulnerable to me in the last game. I really dont know how many minutes you can give that duo.
