Enjoy some coffee + copium this morning. I present you the good ending. Chances are 1% but I’ve seen stranger things:

  1. Trae and the team disagreed over contract value this offseason which led to this current situation

  2. Trae is allowed to look for trades to see if he can get his preferred value somewhere else. And IF he can, the hawks will work to trade him there

  3. He can’t find his desired contract (sorry!) and the Hawks, knowing this, decide not to trade him for scraps as it now benefits no one

  4. Trae, feeling disrespected by the NBA is motivated to prove everyone wrong and tries harder on defense and changes his game a bit in order to show he can fit in anywhere, opts in to last year to boost trade value for the offseason

  5. The extra effort trae puts in results in immense Hawks success and team ball, leading to a deep playoff run

  6. Motivated by the run and the disrespect (still) Trae returns on a contract less than the max and the Hawks do a crazy thing and keep their best player

Do you choose to believe? 😭🚪

  1. i haven’t thought Young should be a point for two years but i’m kinda with you A future FIRST and Tare Young to unload him is awful for the team. FUCK ressler

  2. I don’t mind moving Trae for some value but if we’re just trading him to trade him it’s clearly the Resslers being cheap asses
