Give him a chance next year you never know
Sure he deserves a shot. He basically has been doing well UNTIL the defense has put the team in the hole.
Shoulda kicked a field goal on the first drive. Gives him something to build on.
Ewers performance was a mixture of good and bad. It was what I expected. He should be given a chance to compete for the job. No guarantee!
I think Quinn would be a good quarterback for Miami. Got give him a chance.
Analyze the numbers for Ewers and Tua in the first and the second half. It's not a QB problem. It's a Mc problem.
He looked pretty good and they competed! Definitely is the QB1 going into next season until he’s not. Bring in another guy, I’m sure he will beat him out also. He is a real competitor and I think he made the entire team better!
I really wanted Quinn Ewers to do well today and sure he missed some open receivers but todays loss is not on him. It is not the quarterbacks fault when running backs fumble, the offensive line messes up the blocking schemes, and the defense can't stop anything. When a team falls that far behind and the defense knows you have to pass every down then they can T-off on the quarterback.
Yes he needs a shot but I’m afraid that no one will reach their potential under McDork.
He deserves a shot but I did see him struggle on 3rd downs, under blitz pressure, just like the scouting reports said… I don’t think he’s the guy but first season with a couple games under his belt? Let him compete but I hope they get someone better or he proves me wrong
Ewers needs the Jordan Palmer mechanics treatment. He has a renowned arm but for some reason his throws have a floaty feel. Lots of untapped potential there. I don't see anyone in the draft (that will be there when they pick) that is better than Ewers. His drop to 7th round will help offset Tua’s massive cap hit. Ewers is basically free.
Shoulda had two tds but one was dropped
You are a abject liar
You GOT Bullish on the 1st half
Grasshopper he fell apart second half
Don’t lie did you see the look on his face second half …. Ya felt bad for the kid
You got the patience of a Suger Ant 🐜
On a melted snickers bar !
That aside . Enjoy the Chanel
Sure he can be in a competition for the starting job but I honestly don't think he's anything special tbh
Give him a full training camp to compete.
I think in his 2nd year he will be much better and I expect him to be the starter next season.
Great content! I love the breakdown and I agree he definitely has earned at least a competition if not the starting job outright 👏🏽🔥💯
Let him ride out for a year. The draft after next is qb heavy. If he sucks grab one in 27.
I desperately want Fernando Mendoza. But our chances of landing him are slim to none. So hopefully Quinn becomes a service starter or a starr
Yes please spread the truth all these other channels with 50k subs are saying he is ok for a 7th round pick they have no clue about football 1st by putting that label on him and not knowing his pedigree I can help blow this channel up I told all them Jonah was going to be a bust he was 88th on my big board and Qwers was 80 and all I heard is that I am crazy keep doing the work appreciate it
Not to mention he was playing with a practice squad team today do people understand that achane is out bijon Robinson anyway quarterback is not a need like we thought 3 weeks ago of course bring in competition but if we drafted him in the 1st round they would be saying look what he did with all back ups just finally glad the TUA sexuals are gone and finally see a leader out there playing quarterback
I like mcdaniel one more year to see what he could do with QWERS the only coach I would be happy with is Kevin Stefanski he has won coach of the year I Kno once maybe twice and he is good with quarterbacks Tom Brady said he is one of the best coaches in the NFL and young
Go Quinn.
He sucked
Gtfoh
He under achieved horrible offense like normal simple dinking and dunking and yards after catch do not make his play great horrible third quarter horrible fourth quarter keep that same energy
He's a rookie and he looked composed. That's really all you can ask for. Give the kid a shot next year and aim for 2027 to get your franchise quarterback if Ewers doesn't quite make it.
He deserves the chance to compete for starter. Bring in a journeyman vet. Trade Tua.
Ewers for sure competition
All he needs is this offseason to work with first level talent, which is not what he even had for the Patriots game. Give him a off season working with starters, good starting wide receiver talent that must be provided for him. Watch him shine. Imagine this guy with hill before he got hurt and waddle . We wasted our weapons on a bum quarterback . Now we have an arm and we have to find a couple great guys to throw too.
Caca
137yrds, 1td, 1int is not showing much to me. He definitely needs time to improve but he has some sparks of looking like he could compete. Just tired of waiting on that break out player that you just know is going to be special right away. I have been a fan/supporter since the early 70's and other than Marino it has been just an abysmal run. I appreciate the staying positive with content like this but I think you are over hyping Ewers too early. He looks ok but the sign me up this guy is the starter next year is very premature.
Gotta keep Tua one more year. Ewers looks like a 2022 Tua💯 Tua definitely digressed this year. Let them battle it out this off-season. Either way Dolphins should have functional to very Qb play next year👍
Glad he did not suffer a serious knee injury, taking him out of contention. Hook 'em Quinn!
Quinn is a baller. He has the "it" factor.
He’s under contract. Of course he deserves a chance to start
Hard to do set the world on fire with no running game support.
Draft another qb by round 4 too
Outplayed Maye for a half of football in his 3rd start with a supporting cast of PS players.
Give him the keys for 2026 on a leash, give him a Vet for mentoring. Draft a QB mid-late and see what you have in them in pre-season. Absolute worst case he's a tank commander and we position for a QB in 27, best case he's the future of the franchise. Nothing to lose
all of this talk. Miami has absolutely no defense. None. The softest, slowest, weakest, limp mob of quitters ever puked onto an NFL field. QB play means nothing without an OL or a DEF.
All he has earned a chance.
The team needs to blow it all up. He needs a supporting cast to make a fair assessment. But, he has good tools in his toolbox!
You need a coach and a offense coordinator the quarterbacks could fight it out let the best man win
Get pete Carroll he can win and a offense coordinator and the running game and you have receivers and need someone to get them the ball
Dude that was a very ugly interception.
If Tua heals his mind no way he is better than Tua.
I like Quinn
Ahhh I guess you were watching another game. Granted it would be interesting to see how he performs with actual weapons, a legit physical playoff caliber o-line and a defense that is also playoff material. But he did not look particularly impressive yesterday. Still he is worth a second and maybe even a third look with some actual talent around him. My concern is he’s good enough to serve as backup but is not starter material because of bonehead interceptions at crucial moments. The one in end zone was atrocious.
You are unprepared and use way too many words.
That OL is terrible too.. The RG was off the street type stuff and he's twice as good as the rookie LG. Which is still not saying much
Still feel the same way after the Patriots Game?
He has been playing with backups at wr
First play had way more potential but an OL running a route on a scramble drill. Not a clue about spacing running routes 😂
