  1. If our guys get healthy…I guarantee nobody is going to want to get us in the first round. I was sitting at a bar tonight in Alaska watching the game, and overheard these older guys mention something about how Deni looked like he was playing against kids lol. Deni is absolutely absurd

  2. I think Middleton for Jerami is a good trade for us to do because u don't lose much in the way of scoring and it's a expiring contract. Just a thought for a deadline trade

  3. Just playing devils advocate, Grant’s value will never be higher than it is right now. Before last season when Lakers wanted him, we all said if they can get a 1st for him you do that all day. Maybe Kuminga isn’t the right player to go after (I like him but not as a single move to make with this team’s lack of shooting), moving him as a cap dump isn’t a bad idea. In the future, if the blazers want to consolidate and trade for a star, JK probably will be a more attractive trade chip than JG.

    In saying all that, if we are dumping JG for someone else, I would rather Trey Murphy than Kuminga.

  4. It'd be nice to see more playmaking from Sharpe, but looking for his own shot is his primary duty at SG. Deni plays a different role, when comparing Sharpe to Deni i think that has to be factored in.

    Jordan 5.3 assist/2.6 tov, Wade 5.3/3.2, Bryant 4.7/3.0, arguably the three greatest shooting guards. Maybe 4 assists to 3 turnovers for a high ceiling Sharpe?

  6. Grant, Sharpe and Deni as a three man lineup are the SECOND WORST defensive lineup in the NBA (minimum 200 mins) with a rating of 128. The same lineup last year was 122.2.. If Deni and Sharpe are our guys, Jerami has to go

    Blazers are also 6-4 without Grant this year, even with all the injuries and Jrue, a massive plus, playing in most of the earlier games, going 11-16.

    If we can dump Jerami for an expriring, Kuminga or otherwise, we should. We have plenty of assets to bring in a three point shooter who can defend too. If we can flip Kuminga for any kind of value that seems like home run and with a team option it's low risk.

  7. Would love to hear what y'all think about trading for JJJ. I know it's a longshot and he's probably overpaid, but if we want to try to contend while Dame is on the roster, I think he is the one player we could add that allows us to do that without sacrificing success in the 28-29 season and beyond. Start him at PF and give him backup center minutes.
