    But how did they get down to the 1 yard line?….The offense had to move the ball to get there. Let alone still having to actually score and its not a guarantee.

    Thats probably my biggest gripe with people who say Stafford shouldn’t win it.

  13. Drake is a good QB, but his schedule hurts him. I respect him and his game but if you take Stafford off the rams I’m not sure we make the playoffs with that schedule. And I’m a die hard rams fan. Matthew should win it.

  19. What a fucking homer! What’s more of a joke is all the click bait ESPN has about Maye being the MVP over Stafford. Writers like Barnwell and Graziano’s reasoning for why Maye is the MVP over Stafford are just ridiculous. “Patriots won 14 games and their division. The Rams won 12 games and did not” yeah ok .. Panthers finished first in their division with a losing record! not a good example Barnwell. completely ignoring the fact that 3 of Rams loses came at the hands of special teams (I wont mentions ref either but we know)

    And for Graziano “Maye has just simply been better” .. with a schedule that Maye had .. it should have been expected of him to play good football .. shit any QB that had a schedule that Maye had would have performed at MVP levels

    This argument that Stafford had 8 – 1 yard TDs is pathetic .. with a defense in your face and tight. it is far more difficult to score a 1 yard passing TD than it is a 1 yard run TD (imho)

    I knew ESPN analysts are into click bait but they are reaching so far to make this a contest for MVP when the clear favorite is Stafford and the best part is they know it. shit even one of New England’s own Tom Brady has come out and said Stafford is the MVP.

  23. Dude is boasting about winning division while the pats went 5-1 in a division that has the jets and the dolphins. Meanwhile we went 4-2 in a division with 9ers and Seahawks; better still: we lost a game to the Seahawks where Stafford went 400+ yards and 3 td’s… in Seattle.

    How is this a conversation still?

  31. Uh, 1 yard touchdowns aren’t easy either. Being in the red zone in the NFL is usually when a defense is at its tightest on top of the fact that the QB has *no room* to throw the ball. This is just a dumb point.
