To be honest I think Bowles isn’t even a mid tier head coach.
Reasons why:
1. Terrible defense and the scheme is super complicated for our players BUT NOT back up QBs like Quinn Ewers lmao
2. Terrible clock management and super conservative
3. No personality or motivation
Bowles is a liability, even if we bring in a defensive coordinator to call plays. What’s the point of having him as head coach? He is not a CEO type HC like Campbell or Sirianni.
Also him bragging about winning the NFC South 3X, with Brady, Canales, Liam Coen, and Baker/ the offense carrying the team like last year… give me a break.

He’s coached nearly 150 games in the NFL and has a winning percentage of about .450. Before anyone tries to dismiss his time with the Jets, remember that Rex Ryan went to 2 AFC Championship games with those Jets.

I was led to believe he was some sort of defensive mad genuis. A savant if you will. Is that not true?
Well what about our superbowl run? We had a solid defense then that shut down the chiefs.
This man is a fucking liability. He sucks ass and has for years. He acts like winning the division is an accomplisment. The Bucs aren’t the rays and have to fight the orioles, yanks, Red Sox, and jays. The Al east is a straight beast. And they sure as shit ain’t the bolts who have the panthers, senators, leafs, red wings, and canadiens. This asshole needs to get a grip. Beating the failcons, kitty cats, and aints is not a fucking accomplishment. I’m happy we didn’t make the playoffs. Not only did we not deserve it, but we would have left first round again and gotten buttfucked yet again by a rams team that could pick us apart in their sleep
All of that is Baker’s fault.

A defensive scheme that’s been in place since 2019 mind you. This isn’t a new scheme he’s bringing in. Most of our defensive players have been there for 4+ years and still have issues.

Since it seems like we’re keeping Todd, can ownership force him to hire a DC and stop calling the defense? Seems like that’s the absolute minimum that should happen. Sadly the game has passed him by – it happens.
