I don’t know which of these is the surprising one.

Jacobs, that he didn’t have more than that, considering he had 33% of the team’s touches? Kraft because he only played just less than half the season? Golden… for any number of reasons?

Just kinda funny they all landed on the same number, feels like that should be wrong with all their seasons being so different lol

  1. >Golden… for any number of reasons?

#1 reason being he’s a rookie. Very similar to Jordy and Cobby numbers.

  2. This cannot be right. All year people have been telling me that Doubs sucks and is worthless, should not even be on the team. And yet he has the most catches, most yards, most targets and most TDs? How is this possible!?

  3. I don’t say this to put pressure on him, but if we succeed in the playoffs, it’s gonna be because Matthew Golden went off.

I look forward to a good showing against the Bears, a few more Sundays of football, and the inevitable Erin Andrews pre game show profile interview complete with a montage set to the K-Pop Demon Hunters song.

  4. With all the injuries this year I just want to beat the Bears on Saturday and after that I just hope we stay healthy for next season. Obviously a Superbowl would be dope but we just have too many good players hurt to make a legit run imo.

This offense with everyone healthy is gonna be amazing.

  5. Pretty interesting that Reed, Wicks, and Golden have very similar #targets per game. Those 3 guys are getting very similar target volumes.

With Reed, his return from broken collar bone obviously may influence that, and he may have been “eased” back into the fold.

When you look at this list it’s obvious Golden can’t be “fed” more because who are you gonna take targets away from?

  6. As a rookie, even with the Kraft injury, being 4th in targets isn’t bad. We weren’t a team that had a glaring hole at receiver. We just didn’t have a dominant receiver, and honestly a health Christian Watson has proven he can be that.

I expect big things out of both of them next year when Doubs is gone. Those targets will be spread out between them and Kraft.

Also…what a disappointing year for Wicks, he didn’t have any glaring mistakes, just couldn’t stay healthy for full games and outside his one masterpiece really never got much of an opportunity.

I do miss the random Golden deep shots from the Pre-Watson, Post-Reed injury time.

  7. Where has Reed been since coming back from injury? Has he been more/less targets per game compared to last year?

  8. Even with Kraft’s injury, it sure didn’t feel like Golden got as many targets as he did.
