In a pool report with crew chief Brian Forte after the game, the official admitted the crew missed the goaltending call. “The shot by Payton hit the backboard prior to being touched by Collins. It should have been ruled a goaltending violation,” Forte said. “The only way it could have been reviewed was if it was called on the floor and the Clippers challenged the call, because it did not occur in the last two minutes of the game.”

  1. If only they had a team with advanced equipment at a second location reviewing all these situations in slo mo in real time. Oh wait….

  2. Far more than 2 points….it’s closer to -7 points for the dubs and +3 to 5 for the clips.

Gotta protect the spread and keep the bookies happy.

  3. Yeah no shit, plus Steph scores and then they call it as a side out (-3pts), and before that Jimmy gets fouled and its overturned after they review on the challenge when he was clearly fouled (-2pts). Add in Kerr’s 2 techs and that’s a 9 point swing, and we don’t even talk about all the calls Steph never gets anymore. NBA is a fucking joke and no one with a platform can call this BS out because they’re all sponsored by PrizePicks.

  4. So they review Steph’s 3 pointers and out of bounds plays during the game but don’t review an obvious goaltending unless it’s within the last 1 minutes? Lmfao ok

  5. its even worse than this because they also double downed and ejected kerr with 2 techs. such disgusting behavior

  6. Nah. That no-call resulted in 5 (possible 6) pts. fuck outta here. Admit more, and reverse those techs on Kerr. While you are at it, award warriors the win.

  7. In soccer they have VAR. In the NBA they have the review booth

Why tf can they only review stuff in the last 2 minutes?

    That shit makes no sense

  8. Should’ve just let us start every game down 10-20 instead of having to lie to themselves

  9. Here’s the thing:

Officials will call the goal tend when they’re not sure or the opposing team reacts animatedly. Why? Because then they can go to the monitors and review it right away.

What I’m pissed about is Kerr not talking shit at the podium. Mfer should’ve been calling out Steph’s whistle for YEARS, and I’ve been saying this for almost a decade now. But Steve is such a good company boy smfh. And Stotts saying he wants to save money? Lmao foh pay the god damned fine!

No one wants to believe it, but if Kerr and Curry stopped trying to have conversations with these refs, things would have been different. That’s my crystal ball take. Can’t kill these dick heads with kindness, fear and avoiding embarrassment has always been a motivator for the way most call games.

  10. Fuck the NBA. Just done with it. The last two years have been getting progressively worse as a product.

  11. They botched that game at the end missing the clear reach-in fouls on Butler and added the cherry on top of missing the goal tend, completely changed the momentum of the game.
