1. The organization had never had a below average GM until KAM. They couldn’t get rid of him after the 2023 season but they should have. The long term consequences 4 years later is that they will experience what it’s like to be the Browns, Raiders, etc. moving forward. The cap, depth issues, QB issues, etc are all because of poor personnel decisions by KAM.

2. Purple daily has sunken to the level of entertaining Kirk the Bum Cousins back to give us more .500 seasons…. A guy who has won less than nothing in high school , college or the pros…. And people wonder why the Vikings have been the laughing stock of the NFL for decades and why no one ever takes them serious …

3. If they back out on JJ now, I'll 100% lose faith in this entire operation and I'll be completely out until the staff turns over. They made their beds, they need to practice what they preach; have patience, put every resource you have into developing him, and give him a real shot with a healthy team that has depth. They knew the risk of a rookie QB, they need to see that risk through. They can't have it both ways, taking a risk but then playing it safe to maybe lose another playoff game at best with a mid level temp qb (Mac Jones, KMurray, etc). To go into the season with a temp QB is just a waste of time. Any coach with a top 20 defense can plug in Joe Burrow or Stafford and have an impressive season.I think we all would love someone like that and they should def do that if they can swing it, but that makes KOC's career so unimpressive. I don't need KOC to be the coach for us to take Burrow and have a great season, any coach can plug and play him, so if that's KOC's big answer, we don't need him and let's move on from him. Again, Anyone can plug and play JB and have a top 5 offense. Let JJ ride until he gets another season altering injury or fails completely.

4. PD should have factored the likelihood of Flores leaving into their analysis of whether Darnold should stay. This was likely a 2 year window.

5. Flores as a HC will be infinitely better than KOC.

6. We DEFINITELY need a STARTING CALIBER Quarterback on our roster for 2026, because M'cCarthy might SCRATCH the NAIL POLISH on his pinky finger next year, and miss ANOTHER 6 games!!! 😆😆😆

10. Seems like this whole exercise is more of an indictment on Brosmer than McCarthy, unless we somehow get Burrow or Jackson, or mayyybe Jones (who McCarthy will be better than eventually)

11. Forget Greenard. The two guys Flores would want to trade for are Van Ginkel and Metellus. He will need players familiar with his system and those two may not jive with a new coordinator

12. The Wilfs are absolute idiots and need to sell the team. The Wilfs will never have a team that will make it to the super bowl, let alone win one.

13. I think both Kevin O'Connell and Justin Jefferson believe in Kevin O'Connell system because so many quarterbacks have succeeded at it. JJ did not prove that he can operate that system so they have to go get someone that will operate that system and then they have to teach JJ how to operate that system successfully

14. How has nobody been fired yet? Also– the constant harping on McCarthy's age is getting old. There are plenty of NFL players that are 22. Just because he's a QB doesn't mean he gets a pass for being young

15. Declan is just there to sign off on Mackey’s maddness! It’s not a lack is patience it’s knowing when to pull the plug. This “waiting” has been going on for 70 years. Remind me again why we move on from Kirk, and why we let Darnold walk. So now three years wait for a hyperactive erratic unpredictable rookie. Okay let do that, 2026 7-10. I’m already planning to start watching the Vikings maybe in 2027 if they still have Jefferson and Flores if not I’m done after 2026, I won’t die waiting!

16. The obvious answer as to who the Vikings should bring in at QB is Malik Willis. He's young, but has experience as he's now entering his 5th year in the NFL. He's played his last 2 years in GB under a similar offensive system to KOC's. In 11 games with the Packers, Willis has a QBR of 85.3 with 972 passing yards, 262 rushing yards, 9 TDS, 0 INT's, 2 fumbles, and sacked a total of 11 times. Give him a 2 year deal to compete with McCarthy for the starting QB position.

17. Only our fanbase would trade for injury prone QBs getting paid 50 million per year.

18. If they don't go with JJ we'll be further away from a Super bowl. We'll find someone to compete or start, win 9 or 10 games and miss out on a good QB draft class the following year. The Hawks drafted 1st and in another year so did the Spurs. The timing matters.

19. Phill get mac jones out of your big fat head. Youre the reason these people get overpaid. No one is giving more than a 5th for mac jones.

20. Maybe explore this on Feedback Friday… what does Jefferson have in the conversation about going out and trading for his former college quarterback. IF this is something Jefferson want's how much weight might that carry with ownership in regards to making a huge splash move for Burrow.

If you only missed the playoffs by a special teams play or two, with bottom 3 QB play, why wouldn't you run it back!… can the QB play get any worse!…I saw improvement and progression… put that with an offseason of proper development and team growth… isn't that at minimum playoffs!…ijs!… and i was one beating the drum thinking it was a joke to focus on a backup QB… boy was I wrong!… competent backup QB play and we're probably in the playoffs this yr!

23. You prioritize a competent back up in that 10-14mill range. Let JJ cook. He needs to strengthen his frame and play smarter. Some of that comes in reps and some in getting older…

24. Judd understands. We won’t be able to get a QB worth getting if McCarthy is guaranteed the starting job. It needs to be a true QB competition, even if JJ enters as the favorite and will receive the tiebreaker.

25. If Sam Darnold gets to/wins the superbowl I think everyone should be fired

33. They had Sam Darnold, Matt Jones-Aaron Rogers wanting to play for the Vikings but no Kwesi and KOC were arrogant that they knew best. A Big Big Fail-How can you trust this time they will get it right. Wilf’s- you had Harbaugh wanting to coach the Vikings but no Minnesota nice is more important. Harbaugh is in the Playoffs while the Vikings are a Joke.
