[Rorabaugh] Malkin offered a few details on his injury. After his three-point game against the Lightning on Dec. 4, he felt fine that night, but his shoulder began feeling pain the next day. Called it “weird” and “annoying.” Indicated he began to feel much better the past three, four days.

That’s what happens as you get old.
Thats great!! Can’t wait to see him in the line up
He should rest up as much as he can. The team is playing well. Play the long game at this point.
GENO WE MISSED YOU YAY! Also, no wonder he refuses to do push-ups in practice. It’s cute that they make a joke out of it instead of him sitting glumly on the side watching everyone else be healthy at him.
Wonder if was a form of a joint sprain or a tendinitis flair up
it’s wild that when he’s back we’re in a position where the healthy scratch isn’t an obvious dud. this forward group is strong right now
I posted this comment linked below in a thread about Malkins crazy start and got absolutely shit on for it. My prediction was off by less than a week.

Its not as threatening as it was in December, which is nice. He can take as much time as he needs to get healthy and when he returns it’ll be fully solidified.
I find all of the people saying that he is not needed to come back to be disgusting but Evgeni Malkin has never been respected by the Pittsburgh Penguins fandom.
