We’re waiting

  1. I think it’s clear that Bowles is staying. I give it a 50/50 chance that Grizzard is fired – if the decision is left up to Bowles, I don’t think he fires him. Sounds like he thinks he sees improvement (I really don’t)

  2. I’m still not convinced he is staying. Glazers have waited some time before firing others before.

  3. Bowles meets with ownership tomorrow. They likely give him a couple options of either staying and firing some staff and letting someone else call the defense or just letting him retire and they will pay out his contract next year as a thank you.

  4. Probably won’t do anything til Wednesday at the earliest as that seems like the earliest time Bowles could meet with the Glazers (said they’d meet in a couple days on Monday). I think we keep Bowles but get rid of a lot of his defensive coaches for younger and stronger coaches. I think we also grab a new OC tbh.

  5. All that offensive goodness and nothing to show for it! We FINALLY have a run game! Something needs to be changed…ARGH!

  6. Remember that Lovie Smith was fired on a Wednesday back in 2016. There’s still time

  7. Too late to make a change at this point, most of the teams that fired their coach’s have already setup interview and are first in line.

  8. I’m pretty sure we will be keeping Bowles and I’ll be tuned out for next season until the draft talk starts

  9. II don’t understand where ppl just assume this team has Super Bowl level talent!!! Go look at the TWO SB teams we had and go guy by guy on offense / defense and you tell me , HOW a coach INSTANTLY IMPROVES TALENT!!! Players play the games . Baltimore could have 4 SBs if Lamar didn’t dunk them with the costly turnover or Edwards mishap.. a kicker missed a FG n they lose the North this year. That’s ON THE PLAYYYERRRS…,Our defense DOES NOT get home!!! Ppl think we can just throw it here. Run it there. Vice versa on defense.. meanwhile the other team has GREAT athletes and players along with coaches who know how the fan at home is thinking. Soooo many arm chair QBs , it’s frustrating. There’s 20 teams easily as talented as us , do they demand SB or nothing? Fan base desperately needs a reality check. First ESTABLISH your talent. Get the horses I’m not saying Bowles is a great coach but any great coach will tell you he’s as good as his players.

  10. He’s likely not going anywhere. As long as he has the lockeroom, which it seems he does. He signed a 3 year extension till 2028, the buyout is hefty. Will bringing just a new coach change the result next year, yes and no. Yes so long as the team is healthy as is all year. But that’s so unlikely.

They are bringing him in to post mortem the season and see what changes he has in mind for the year ahead and his extended term. He’s got to come in with some changes to coaching and brilliant ideas on how to fill the team out. The only way they let him go is if he comes in without a good plan or they agree to part ways.

Anything is possible but the fact Baker is on board, they have thouse division titles (yes in a weak division) and he signed that 3 year extension in June… I have my doubts
