Chris Boswell’s Critical Missed Extra Point Now Credited as a Block by Ravens

It was credited as a block on the official NFL site before Loop’s miss even.
We probably would have known sooner but NBC had important graphics, commercials, and prescripted rambling to show instead of replays
Even if it wasn’t blocked, the fact that anybody wanted to give him shit is pathetic (it was rare, but I saw it online…toxic, man). There isn’t a single player on this team who has earned more grace and forgiveness than Boz. And it’s not close.
His beast FG in first half is also not being talked about enough. That was a hell of a kick and desperately needed for momentum.
“Now”.. it was always a block.
I watched the slow mo and I dont think the defensive back actually made contact but thats just me.
Boz missed and I blamed the field I’m just glad I was proven right by Loop we need a better field and or turf management.
I was up in nose bleed 530 section freezing……..then dude played Renegade, the energy in the stands was awesome!!
It makes me feel better that it wasn’t a flat out miss, but I don’t like the penetration the Ratbirds got on the kick. Gotta clean that up.
Also the decision of not kicking the fg before the end of the first half put them in that position.
Oh Bos, I nether doubted you!
I assumed it was a block because Boswell is my goat
I don’t think he thought so.
Wild. My dad was screaming that it was a block and not a miss the whole time. He’s gonna be smug as shit when I call him later.
The irony is that while Ravens fans were losing it over supposed leverage on their field goal, the Ravens should’ve been flagged for leverage on the extra point.
I think without that miss or block, ravens score a TD.
I’ve rewatched the kick so many times since Sunday and I still don’t see the tip. Anyone have a good angle on it?

It was immediately available to be seen as a block on all sports apps but no one cared to check considering all the action apparently.
No love lost for my man The Boz. Hands down one of the best kickers in the league for quite some time now.
Nobody has brought up that on the ensuing kick-off, during the big return, Chris Frick’N Boswell was the one that forced the runner out of bounds. Saved the touchdown.
Does it go down as a kiss on his stats even if it was blocked?
Bos has had one year where he was awful and cost us multiple games and a playoff spot (the Juju fumbling against the Saints year) but he’s been incredible before and after that one weird season which I think rumor has it was due to some injury.
He’s earned the benefit of the doubt for sure
I thought I saw a block but I never saw any replays so I thought I imagined it haha
Go on YouTube watch the video, slow it down and blow it up…. NO ONE TOUCHED IT…
That makes sense since the flight path of the ball looked so weird, it had to have been tipped. Would have been nice if they covered that during the game but there was a lot going on. Good to see confirmation now.
