New York Jets news and rumors today come from NFL draft analyst Todd McShay. The Jets had a terrible 2025 NFL season, finishing the year at 3-14. It has been 15 years since the Jets last made the NFL playoffs and head coach Aaron Glenn will need to right the ship if he wants to retain his job in the future. Todd McShay claimed on the Ringer that no single player in the NFL draft will want to be a Jet unless they were a Jets fan. The New York Jets will have the 2nd and 16th overall picks in the 1st round of the 2026 NFL draft. Oregon QB Dante Moore is believed to be the top quarterback available for the Jets if he declares for the draft.   7. Is Nike gonna guarantee Moore money for five years if he gets hurt back in college and can’t play anymore? Will they cover the difference between the salary a number 2 pick gets this year and where he gets picked next year if he slides down next draft?

  9. An nfl’s player’s success is dependent upon good coaching and the quality of your teammates. If an NFL player is not successful, that affects their entire career and earnings. That said, no player coming out of college or an NFL free agent wants to play for a dysfunctional organization.

  22. It’s not like it’s free agency or you’re an established vet and go tom Brady where you want to go to…either way…we should not be drafting a qb at the 2 spot
