Hell yeah. Tom is coming back

  1. I just posted a comment about how Jordan Love is safe from Ridder next year, because Tom Clements is retired. For a moment, I seriously thought we had somehow brought Clements back to coach up Ridder.

Anyway, this is excellent news. Zach Tom was the second biggest impact injury on offense this year, following Kraft. Willis was a decent enough temporary replacement for Love, but you could see the offensive line struggling in every way without Tom.

  2. I am ready to get hurt again.

Tom will start and play a fantastic first drive only to get injured again in the second quarter before everything falls apart.

I have seen this movie before.

  3. Absolutely huge, Bears defense can be shredded, just gotta give Pookie enough time to do it

  4. Until he’s re-injured again 3 plays later.

EDIT: This sub is so damn humorless, lmao.

  5. Just like the last two times he’s come back he’s going to get beat in the 1st quarter resulting in a sack and hard hit against Love while re-injuring himself. A lineman playing at less than 100% is a liability for your quarterback and Tom has not showed himself capable. I would have much preferred shutting him down until next season.

  6. I understand best available player. Glad he’s healthy again. Also understand reps are crucial to performance. And he’s gonna be rusty.

  7. With him returning and Jacobs hopefully at 100% the run game gonna go brrrrrr😁😁😁😁

  8. Don’t underestimate how big of a deal this is! Our OLine has looked bad the last couple games (I know it was mostly backups last week).
