If Borgonzi and the Titans want Harbaugh, they’ll have to fight to get him

  1. Also, isn’t it like a super blatant violation of the rules to get a verbal commitment from a candidate before the interview process let alone firing your coach?

  2. So how would this work with the Rooney Rule? If a team were to fire their head coach now, then they would be beholden to do at least 2 external in-house interviews with minority candidates before they could make Harbaugh an offer. That would open up a can of worms I don’t think the NFL wants to deal with, no? I wonder if behind the scenes they’re pressuring teams *not* to do this.

Or am I off base with what the process requirements are for the Rooney Rule? Because anyone starting now is going to be behind the 8 ball unless they have a handshake deal behind closed doors and yikes that could be ugly

  3. Then fight, dammit! Shit I’ll help! Which alley we meeting in fam because I will go toe to toe with anybody to end up with Harbaugh over all these other bums we’ve been interviewing!

  4. Him getting fired made a lot of mid teams look at their guy and question if it worth canning him and going after harbaugh. I do feel like he is a bit overhyped at the moment

  5. Maybe Ravens do some extra housecleaning and set the King free, too. I’ve seen others on here speculating on that. That would be a nice double score for Titans.
