This is why "finishing your check" is an idea that needs to be re-examined. No reason for Kolesar to give him that shove when the puck is already gone, but players are taught to follow through and be physical in those situations, and Kolesar's only way of hitting him in that position is by shoving.

I went into the boards similar to this but flip it upside down! I was bent over on my feet! Didn't play the rest of the game but was able to skate off! I couldn't stand for prob 5 min
