  1. You justify it by the fact that he overachieved the previous two seasons. Bucs were projected to win 6 games in 2023, made it to the divisional round. Even last year, the Bucs were projected to finish behind Atlanta. One down year when you half your team misses significant time with injuries (Wirfs, Mauch, Bredsson, Goedeke, Irving, Evans, Godwin, McMillan, JUST ON OFFENSE) doesn’t justify a firing when you overachieved the previous two years prior.

  2. ZERO growth as a HC. Worst ST in the league. Worst defensive staff in the league. Fu%&ing pathetic. Get us a real coach that actually has to interview. Could have had Cohen…or Canales. Constantly out coached. Supposed to be a defensive guru. 10 yds off every WR and makes every 3 game starter look like a HOFer. Our D guys can't figure out the D, when not bored, but every OC in the league can. Sh!tcan the entire staff.

  3. Bro, todd has to go! That's it. Todd is a defensive coordinator and he needs to stay as one. I don't even know how he became our head coach. We have too much good talent to watch it go away. I've been watching tampa bay my whole life. I saw all the bad coachings, and he's one of them. I'd rather go take pete carroll

  4. You are so right bro! I was all for Todd Bowles. I use to even argue with other Buc fans about him! But now, sorry Todd you done wore out your welcome. I hope the door don’t hit you on the way out!

  5. I have "mostly" been a Todd Bowles defender. I have seen the effort his players have usually put forth, and he has always been the grown up in the room. This year though … Both those got lost. His team basically quit in multiple games and his profanity laced post-Atlanta loss tirade was the butt of jokes for weeks. Look, he is not getting fired. We all know that. But off this season I am not defending him any longer.

  6. You can sell it to common sense fans who don't simply label bad circumstances, "excuses" and think that makes them non-factors:
    • 90M over the salary cap coming off of buying a SB. So, can't afford proven tallent;
    • 2024 – So many injuries to D that we never start the same 11 twice;
    • 2025 – Losing 8 of your 11 offensive starters with a QB playing hurt most of the time; (Yes, we got skill positions back, but fans who know football know how important it is to have an O-line.
    • Big gamble on free-agent edge rusher doesn't pan out.
    • Other game-changer on D-line, (Kancey) out injured.
    Not everyone pretends that calling these things excuses takes away how badly they destroy a team. No matter who the HC is.
