Leave it to Michael Kay to try to gaslight us into thinking that we still have plenty of time. When have the Yankees ever waited until everyone else was done to make any moves? This year we got coal in our stockings!
Kay keeps saying Hal could field a competitive team with a $250 million and make money. Keep in mind they had a higher payroll in 2023 and missed the playoffs…
“Hal doesn’t pay people not to work, so he won’t fire Boone!” – a few minutes after saying the Yankees were paying DJ, Hicks, and Stroman not to work
Sign Bellinger. Play Spencer Jones. One or two arms. Done.
Don't "they" pick the Yankees to be one of the top teams to win the World Series every year?
What the NYY needs is 2-4 bats & SP. Listen, the Yanks lost against Toronto because they were unable to generate runs. Also, few elite or proved starting pitchers.. But in order to do that, they need to start trading or releasing unproductive players, like Volpe, McMahon, Chisholn, Stanton, etc.
Bellinger might be his best version of himself at Yankee Stadium. I could see how his Road/Home splits could be concerning for other teams. It should be a no-brainer that Belli & the Yankees are an ideal match.
Defend the “JBN” (Jewish Boys Network)… Hal, Cohen, Sterns, Cashman)….🙊🙉🙈
Yankees will take run at a wildcard & thats it.Their manager should have been fired yrs ago, not to mention that GM with 0 Titles in 16 yrs .
Boone gonna show ya'll how to go 9 years without a Championship.
Fire Cash overhaul player development
I agree, probably a lockout in 2027. If it becomes MLB teams salary cap…. there is a lot of what ifs!
Why are we not talking tucker and giving judge a legit partner..
So the goal of this organization is no longer "World Series or bust"? That's news to me and sad. We should just be satisfied with participation trophies now.
Kay is right about Mets
Answer Key: 1) If you're evaluating players and prospects without watching them play then yes…you're stupid, 2) Expect the Yankees to make smart moves not moves that pander to fans, 3) Hal Steinbrenner is not a problem, 4) Boone sucks as a manager, 5) the Trent Grisham QO was a mistake but the benefit of it is that it's only 1 year and it stops the Yankees from wasting money on Bellinger, 6) It's too early to worry about the trade deadline, and 7) Kyle Tucker is not on the Yankees radar.
I love you guys. The Yankees are a joke. You must admit this.
Kay has a silly Grisham fixation. They secured him because they knew they would be strung out trying to get Bellinger back or sign Tucker. NYY are acting tight-fisted and Cashman wants to avoid long-term contracts. It looks like the Jays are spending to be the beast of the east and may well win the WS next year.
“Their only problem was they didn’t match up well with the blue jays”
I’ve got some bad news for you, the blue jays are in the AL East
Fuck Joel, fuck Kay and fuck The Owners. Keep saying the same shit about this team year after year but, it equals losing
You continue to sell us the same garbage year after year. This culture stinks.
