Read somewhere it was the 3rd worst special teams EPA in 10 years
I’ve got it: let’s hire John Harbaugh, he’s a good Special Teams coach and just became available!
That’s what happens when you keep the 37TH ranked kicker for most of the year smh
I hope we can turn this glaring weakness around and be competent in this area of the game.
I get that the Saints didn’t want to pay them, but it hurts that we had to let go of Lutz and Morstead
We need a total overhaul
does our special teams coordinator still have a job? I get the specialist were dropping the ball this season, but I also remember a ton of blown coverage on kicks off. I think of the Giants game and how we went up two possessions early in the 4th quarter, and then they return a 50 yard kick off on us and completely kill that momentum. I get we won that game, but that spot was completely unacceptable and I’m pretty sure those kinds of things kept happening throughout the season on special teams
