From what i´ve observed the last years i assume Spags is done with Headcoaching. Yes, it may sometimes sound different in interviews, but we all know how the media talks work in the NFL. That men is in his sixties, has been a Headcoach and has won 5 Super Bowls as a Defense Coach/Defense Coordinator. He is on track to Canton on this position. So why change anything? He has full power over the defense here and everything he needs. And, let´s be honest, his interview request is from the Titans. That´s not the most attractive Job in the NFL. How long should it take to build a successfull team there from the situation there are in right now? Can be years. Way to long for a coach in his sixties. It´s more like Borgonzi wants to interview his old guys and to do him a favour you go and do it. I´m very keen that he will be in KC next season and beyond.
As the OC stands i´m absolutely outside of anything that has to do with Stefanski. He has done next to nothing in his time in Cleveland which convices me in any kind that he would be capable of being a good OC for us. The Offense with Baker was ok, since he left it was mostly absolute dogshit. The Browns were carried by the Defense for years which was not his thing. Hard pass there. Kliff Kingsbury is also not really convincing me, his Offenses had worked for one or two years and then broke down, in Arizona as well as in Washington. He got into problems at the time Murray started to be injured often and the same thing happend when Daniels got injured in Washington this season. He is to depending on his Star QBs, but we need a guy who is capable of fielding a good Offense with any QB. Kingsbury never managed the full transition from College to NFL. I understand people wanting a guy from outside but we all know Andy. It is likely to become a guy he knows. While my heart screams EB, i am recognizing that i´m not objective enough in this point. It has worked in the past and i am pretty sure it would still work, but is it realistic? So my head says let EB out of your thinking, eventhough it would be easy to get him here as he is only RB Coach in Chicago. My Number 1 Option is Kafka. I liked the guy when he was here and he showed that he is able to develop QBs and get the best out of an Offense. The Daniel Jones redemption arc was with him at OC and Jaxson Darts success was also with him at OC. He knows Andy, he knows Mahomes. Be honest, it is the perfect fit. I personally also think we should talk about Daboll. Yes he got fired as HC of the Giants but he had shown that he can field a good Offense and is a creative guy and stuff. He should also be on the list as i think he´s not in the race for getting another HC opportunity. And last but not least keep an eye on Miami. Yes, they have kept McDaniel for now, but they are looking for a new GM and it´s not unlikely that this GM wants his own Coach especially with it being very likely that they are going for a QB in the Draft. (As they are behind us in the order keep them in mind for a possible Downtrade but that´s future things.) And if this is the case we should also strongly consider him.
Anyway, we will be back next year. Go on Chiefs Kingdom!
Greetings from Germany.
ERIC BIENIEMY
Greetings Ryan and Matt for a Chiefs New Year🎊🥳🎉!!!
Hunt can afford to pay spags what he needs to for him to stay. Im just thinking letting him go over money would not be a good pr move at this particular moment.
bring in GRUDEN!!!!!!
GRUDEN GRUDEN GRUDEN
This team needs a lot in every position, trade McDuffie keep waston draft a running back and tight end but sign George Pickens and draft a pass rusher DT and edge and draft multiple corners
The Chiefs only have 6 picks. How are they drafting all these players
Cowboys will franchise Pickens
Nagy is part of the problem. Chiefs O has been impotent for 2 seasons. Enough is enough. Let him leave.
Chiefs need to interview Kingsbury
It’s time to move on
Bring Gruden
Who's gonna pay Patricia any better than he has it at the Cheifs probably nobody. Quit sweating he needs to learn to throw a foolsball again. He lost his arm three years ago 😂
We can only hope…NEW YOUNG BLOOD PLEASE!!!
