  1. Thank god for I.U. Football and Purdue basketball. Because the colts suck and the Pacer are losing for the right to draft a big time franchise center. I hope he will be major improvement over tickle dink Turner over.

  2. Tomlin is stealing and adapting an old Russian saying: "If grandmother had a beard, grrandmother would be grandfather."
    Which means: hypotheticals are nonsense.

  3. What do you expect when the man who runs the colts scouting department is Casey's husband. Casey Foyt's husband knows more about auto racing than football. That's like having Benito Mussolini be a Interior designer for all the government buildings in a American. Like I say there is Mussolini, than theirs Gussolini the thumb job.

  4. Tired of the same old same old with the colts. Then the only thing to do is stop watching the colts, stop buying tickets to the games, and stop buying the colts merchandise. Remember how can you expect change by doing the same thing over and over again. If they won't change then we have to change to get a harsh strong economic message across to them. That's all we have but it's the only thing we can do.

  5. the 3 women…who have inherited the Colts……..they don't know FOOTBALL and they will never be able to take intelligent decisions……the Colts are "DOOMED"…under this ownership…it was bad enough under their Father's ownership….as he was nothing but a drug addict and everyone knew that…so, this is an IMPOSSIBLE situation….it's OVER…..

  6. The Colts are in such a deep hole man. It might actually be another decade to even begin to dig themselves out at this point.

They needed to start AR last year (idc what anyone says or thinks of AR, it was absolutely the right move to swing for the fence and risk a strike out at the point they were at) and if he flamed out then completely rebuild. And yea yea I know “hE TaPpeD OuT heS toO tIred” give it a rest mouth breathers.

They were really cooked after the decision to start DJ and save their jobs, even more cooked after trading those two firsts, and cooked doesn’t even begin to describe what doubling down on Ballard, Steichen, and Jones means for them now. So beyond screwed. Indianapolis Browns.

And kent, I love listening to you daily and truly appreciate all your hard work and analysis. I think you are great at your job and have a lot of respect for you… that said, do you really think the media was an “emissary” for the fans in that room with Carlie? Most soft ball vague questions I’ve ever heard. Did not remotely press for real answers.

If no one asks the real question in the ballard presser I’m going to lose my mind: “Given that the team leadership has cited injuries as a big reason for the collapse this year, and you express that you want DJ back as QB1, and Daniel Jones has 1 healthy season in 8 years and is now coming off a torn achilles, is it not foreseeable that we will wind up in this exact same spot next year? What makes you think next year will magically be different?”

That is THE question, and it seems like you are all afraid to ask. Invite me along with you. I will be happy to ask it directly to any of their faces.

  7. If ai were to ask a serious question to Ballard. It would be. What means the most to you in the last 9 or so years. The owners the players or the fans? Then pop the question if you knew you were going to have 3 str8 losing seasons would you do it again?

  8. The reason they are holding out is the temporary glimmer of hope that shined during the 1st half of the season.

No, you cannot subject the organization to the void in the program and the team's synergy that would result from firing a coach or 2. I agree with them, and they will prove the fans wrong.

The reason why is simple. Roster depth will fix a lot of what plagued the Colts this year. In addition the Colts have all off season to dissect what went wrong, and to fix it.

Imagine if a coach were fired. Regardless of who would replace them, that's a detriment to the program. Now new relationships have to be built, familiarity formed, and new things must be learned.

The Colts will be great next year. So relax and get hyped.

  9. Here is a good question to ask Ballard.
Chris what do you say to the fans about the allegations that you’re purposely making certain moves just to extend your tenure. Moves like waiting years to find Lucks replacement and then drafting a project that required years of development. Then you mortgage the colts future by throwing away 1st round draft capital to make the GM position less attractive. Colts fans have pointed out for a few years now we needed DB’s but was told by you, “ we like our guys”. Which required a couple of years to develop, only to find they are mediocre, much like your tenure.
