  1. I m not pretending to have some sophisticated analysis – I probably put more on character and fit then skill – but I will say I wanted Josh Allen – we took Darnold. When it was time to take Zack Wilson- I wanted mo part. This is a kid from BYU – color me surprised he couldn’t handle NY. So wanted to give Darnold the tear and draft parsons/ Chase / surtain or Sewell. Then the Rodgers Hail Mary – didn’t think good fit for NY – wanted jets to keep pick and bring in baker… of course wanted Ben Johnson not Glenn. Detroit defense was always their weakness… I’m sure Johnson had no interest but we couldn’t over pay? Now my preference is a bridge QB and trade down – or take defensive stud at 2. Come out of first round with Reese/ bane/ styles /downs… sign Willis and give him shot – will be cheaper than fields. Malek came from small school – and needed some time

  2. Let's be honest, Todd is particularly hard on the Jets over the other crappy teams because JD is his boy and he feels the Jets did him dirty. I have 100% confidence that he doesn't say that if JD is still the GM. It's not totally unfair at all. But that comment is applicable to more than one team and let's not pretend there wasn't some extra motivation to say that.

  3. Considering the 2027 class and the fact everyone thinks Moore has to sit,are we better trading back drafting Simpson given his playing with no run game and a defense which is not what Moore and Mendoza have,or drafting Chambliss for same reasons that way if they miss it's not as costly and you have next year to Draft a Q.B again in what's ment to be a better class, that way we can get more top end talent in areas of major need,we have to get a free agent Q.B regardless it just seems to be the smart thing to do.
