1. Every fan who follows the Chiefs knows this except people who live in constant denial about anything that might mean Andy Reid has some blame for the bad play calling.

2. It’s the accountability aspect is what he brought to the table.

3. Coaching is mostly about preparation during the week. Bienemy gets on players asses to be ready for gameday. His personality is the opposite of Reid, which is why it worked so well, imo

5. Yeah totally, Andy Reid just magically forgot how to call an offense the exact moment Matt Nagy became OC. Nothing has changed but now the play sequencing sucks, the red zone is a mess, and every drive is screens and checkdowns. Must be a coincidence.

   Reid “called plays” before too, yet the offense was elite with Eric Bieniemy and suddenly conservative and predictable with Nagy. If the OC doesn’t matter, explain why the offense clearly changed. Either Reid randomly started calling worse games for fun, or Nagy’s influence actually matters. Pick one.

6. Nagy is responsible for having the offense ready for the games. We haven’t been “ready” for a while in my opinion.

   Bring in a hardass or someone who can inspire these guys, we have enough talent just have to help them thrive.

7. Being the OC here seems like an awesome job because you get to work with Mahomes and Reid but it also kinda sucks because you take a lot of blame even though you don’t have as much impact on playcalling as Reid. Real “future Jr Vice President of the company” vibes.

13. Yeah. The OC does nothing in our system but get coffee. You guys should know that by now. Nagy gets that donut shop coffee that everyone likes. Why would we get rid of him? He also pats Andy’s belly on every decision and when the players mess up he says “It’s okay. We’ll get them next time, champ. You did your best.”

    We’d be stupid to change it up, now.

14. Andy needs an outside voice, otherwise shit is not going to change.

15. The only news here for me is that New Heights has been around since 2022.

16. So in reality, the only player that knows what’s happening with playcalling, may be Patrick, QBs. Trav doesnt seem 100% certain here with the “From my understanding…”. Andy is always looking at the sheet so he knows what play is being called and what personnel are out there.

    So I wonder who’s calling plays in practice or fine-tuning plays in practice. Andy should be walking around (golf carting) observing all of practice.

Nagy and Bienemy both deserve credit for our success over the last decade plus.  Anyone who thinks they have enough insight into the opaque coaching process to pass through credit and blame is an idiot.  The buck stops with Reid.  He’s the one responsible for the product on the field and if things aren’t working he’s the one responsible for fixing it.  

    We were in the Super Bowl 11 months ago with the same staff.  None of them are terrible.  Neither was the staff when Bienemy was here.

    what the fuck is wrong with this sub. Have none of you watched Kingsbury’s offense fall apart everywhere he goes by year 2. Who gives a shit if Mahome’s like him. You know what Mahomes probably likes more? Winning games.
