Four people around Fox, nobody guarding the perimeter. It's becoming the consistent theme of how teams play us. They're forcing us to shoot and we can't hit shots.

  1. I mean, it’s not just that. People seem to not be realizing that our guard trio who are supposed to be really good at getting to the rim, have actually been pretty terrible at the rim these past few games. All of Castle, Harper, and Fox have just been really bad as of late. It’s more than just our perimeter shooting. We’re not even making a lot of our high percentage shots anymore like we were in 2025.

  2. Honestly both castle and Harper are the ones being hurt by this the most as they also can’t penetrate either with this defence.. then they through sochan in as well and you don’t even need to be within 20 feet of him to defend him

  3. I was so mad when Fox forced that shot. He didn’t get separation, everyone collapsed and he had an easy pass to Keldon in the corner (2 threes on the game) or Julian (5 threes on the game.)

Don’t take the insanely contested shot there.

  4. What is Sochan doing all the way out there? Know yourself.

And Julian didn’t move to the opposite side to fill out the spacing. He needs to be aware there. You move to an area of the floor that balances out the court. And Fox goes straight into the strong side of the floor.

It should have been Keldon back cut and Juju sliding to the corner as Fox drove.

  5. Everyone seems to be in a slump… from our shooters to our trio guard. All star break in a month. Just gotta grind it out.

  6. This stretch should show us just how crucial Vassell is to the functioning of the offense. He’s a true movement shooter that teams are scared of with enough game to attack close outs and either score in mid-range or make the next pass to bend the defense. Without him, it’s too many unproven or streaky shooters.

  7. Bottom line is the spacing here is bad and Aldama made a nice play. If Fox had eyes in the back of his head, he drops a pass back to Jules for the open shot. Fox and Jules are too close, which fucked the whole no timeout thing. Otherwise he probably drills this exact shot if Aldama is occupying different space.

  8. In fairness, he had just played an amazing final two minutes. This was pure hero ball and he should catch some shit.

  9. Julian was running down the left side until fox told him to clear out to the right. Julian’s man then proceeded to block him. Great work Fox

  10. Fox tried to draw the foul. When you only need one to tie and two to win, I get his thinking. Doubly so considering how the team is shooting beyond the arc

  11. If idk just spitballing here, our coach called a timeout and drew up a play for the final shot maybe we would’ve run an actual play and not just had the guy that was 4-17 and had taken nearly every shot the last 2 minutes of the game drive into a defense that knew he was going to shoot no matter what.
