  1. First Dan Campbell's play calling results is similar to Johnnie Morton. They both had 1 or 2 high scoring games and the offense looked inconsistent under both. So, there might be something else going on like how he related to players. Second, the OC who got fired from the Commanders is not an upgrade and for the Lions. I think the Lions have someone on staff who they think is the next Ben Johnson and it is Rex Ryan's son.

  2. The interesting thing to me is Johnny Mo didn’t really do “that” much worse than Campbell when all was said and done. He struggled at times and thrived at times, just like Dan. I was not a fan of the hire, but came around early, especially when he turned it around after the first game against GB and then figured out the plays to gash Baltimore with on the ground after failing early in the game. Dan started hot by running into Washington in game one, finally getting the ball to Jamo (which was Morton’s bugaboo) and riding Gibbs’ speed against lesser teams that our o-line could actually block against, which carried his playcalling success most of the time. Johnny mo’s last three teams were also KC (Spag’s DC), TB (Bowles) and MIN (Flores). I don’t want either as OC, but Johnny’s name being mud doesn’t seem totally correct in hindsight.

  3. I really don’t understand this conversation. Kingsburry and Nagy are giants bags of dog shit when it comes to head coaching. To me, they are Hackett and McDaniels level bad. Leave those bums in the trash.

  4. John Morton biggest problem was when he threw the players under the bus on the loss to the Vikings after the bye week. A leader does not do that, regardless of the circumstances.

  5. Correct we do not want Campbell as a full time OC, an OC does not just call plays on game day, they are studying day and night on a detailed scheme to attack each opponents defense having creativity and feel to implement your scheme during the game and able to adjust as the game flows. Our 3rd qtr sucked this yr due to lack of adjustments.

  6. When Klingsbury system gets figured out…they suck. And it happens again and again at every stop. The only outlier was when he had Jayden who was a special talent to mitigate his predictive system
