Hard pass. I’ve always disliked Torts, and bringing him back would make me believe a new rebuild is coming, as guys like Fantilli and Marchenko get sick of him and want out.
There’s not much on the market for a last minute new coach and those who are available are “happy in retirement” which is code for it’s gonna be stupid expensive.
And no Vogelhuber is not gonna be the next head coach. There is zero chance in hell they would run with another first time coach right now.
…though I don’t see Dean making it through this summer but I also don’t see a lot of coaches around the league making it either.
Was just re-watching the highlights of playoff sweep over TB. That CBJ team was so much more sound that this one.
Doubt Torts would see the same success as he did with the way the roster is currently constructed. By the end of his time here the roster was already trending out of his style.
Nope. No more dinosaurs. Need someone who knows how to manage a team with talent and speed.
God forbid this team lose the second game of a back-to-back in overtime
