Dickey had a cannon for an arm. But any mobility he had was taken away by injuries by the time Lofton joined the team in ’78. In the ’80s, Lynn could always be found three, five or seven steps behind center. Loved watching him sling it to Lofton, Coffman and Jefferson.
If this dude had any mobility at all we’re talking about another potential hall of famer at QB for the Packers. I was not alive but have been told and have read he had one of the the best deep balls of all time
