Don’t want Tucker for the money he wants 260 hitter 20 something HRs and 80 RBIs for 400 million, I would rather have Barger playing full time for 1/10th the price and would have more home runs and RBIs in a full season and Tucker is hitting just under 200 with runners in scoring position, most Canadians don’t want him also

8. I obviously really like the idea of adding Kyle Tucker, but one of my favourite aspects of last season was the security of having Varsho and Lukes beside one another in the outfield. That was a top-notch defensive tandem. I'd be fine with Schnieder or Loperfido being dealt, even though they are younger than Lukes.

10. I don't see Clement as an everyday 2nd baseman … Defensively speaking for sure. Clement had a solid year and more importantly a 'surprisingly' solid offensive year. I'd love to see him repeat, but the infield depth is looking pretty hazy (offensively speaking) without Bichette (unless Clement produces again this year – which I really hope for). Toronto fans get so attached to the underdog players coming in and doing well but would like some consistency. We also have a log jam at DH between Santander, Springer, and Vladdy the odd time. Interested to see the rest of the off season unfold. Can't wait until pitchers and catchers report.

    I want as many as we can get, for future trades, for every situation. Then it's up to the manager to name the starters and who comes in juring the game.

18. I think the comment – Adding a new player will take away playing time from another. Was an indication that that acquisition of Okamoto means they no longer believe they have room for Bichette. Now they have increased their efforts to acquire Tucker because they’ve moved on from Bichette.

19. Santandar has to play how quickly people dump on guys that have a bad year due to injuries he’s a stud I expect 30 plus this year

20. Do we really need: Bichette,Schneider,Loprifido if the Jay's sign Kyle Tucker? Trade these assets to get a top prospect or a LHP to complete the 5 man starting rotation.

23. I doubt Tucker wants to play in Canada. He is looking for a longterm deal 400k with about any other team unless Jays are the only ones. I imagine he will sit it out for as long as possible

25. 9 players x 162 games = 1458 total games started. Here's a breakdown scenario for games started (barring any long-term injury): Springer (130), Tucker (145), Vlad (155), Santander (130), Barger (130), Kirk (120), Okamoto (120), Clement (155), Gimenez (130), Varsho (105) = 1320 starts. That leaves 138 starts for Heineman (42), Straw (40), Schneider (38), and Clase (18). Bo will be on another team, while Loperfido and Lukes will be traded.

26. I don't disagree with you two too often but this time I do. There shouldn't be a reality that Okamoto is benched for Barger or Clement. And Barger should be hitting more then Clement. I think Clement will have the same role as straw did in 2025. Come in for defense in late innings

27. With the skilled depth, Mgmt should be able to rest players during the year without much drop off and hopefully keep guys healthy. That would be huge come Sept and hopefully Oct

30. Schneider provides more flexibility than Lukes. He can back up at 2B and LF. Lukes cannot play the infield. What if they deal Santander? Yes he has no value….it would be a salary dump and they'd have to eat money but an outfield of Varsho/Tucker/Schneider or Barger is much more preferable.

31. Tucker hanging with Springer just means they are buds. Tucker is likely sold on playing here but the money has to be there. It's likely a matter of dollars now.

32. I feel like we'll trade Lukes before sending him down tbh, he's earned the right to play and I can see him requesting a trade if he was going to be sent down and I feel like the feeling would be mutual.
