  1. I like Haf, he certainly says all the right things, and it’s definitely not his fault that two of the most important players on this defense went down for the season, but if someone wants to take a shot on him as a HC after two seasons in the NFL as a DC, good luck to em.

  2. Great coach, wish him the best **BUT** I heard he farts in elevators and blames the eldest person there.

  3. You can’t see it, but I hear he keeps a puppy under the podium to kick throughout the interviews.

  4. Is that the guy that knocked my ice cream cone out of my hand? It might be… does Hafley hate ice cream and happiness?

  5. I don’t see it happening at this point. For the first time all year, i think he’s back for one more season.

Seeing that no one has even requested for an interview makes me think he’s just not on the HC radar right now like we thought he’d be.

And there’s also that whole scandal he had with robbing orphans at knifepoint

  6. Defense is certainly improved over recent years past but don’t know if i’d say he’s turned the defense into world beaters. Not sure I get why he’d be such a big draw for a HC job after only 2 years in the league.

  7. Whatever happens there are gona be some great DC candidates this offseason. I hope he stays but if he doesn’t we have a very attractive role for someone to fill.

  8. I wish him the best if he does get a HC shot. But the organization that hires him should know he dog ears his books instead of using a bookmark

  9. Can playoff coordinators be interviewed yet? Curious I haven’t seen his name linked.

    Edit:

    Looked it up:

    Key Timing Rules (NFL Example)
Non-Playoff Teams & Byes: Coaches from eliminated teams or those with a first-round bye can typically begin virtual interviews a few days after their last regular season game or bye week, but these must finish before the Divisional Round.

Wild Card Teams: Initial interviews (virtual) for coaches on teams playing in the Wild Card round can start a few days after their Wild Card game concludes, but must end before the Divisional Round.

  10. He had a dispute with a neighbor and he played Achie Breaky Heart at full volume for like a week straight from speakers on his balcony.

  11. I heard he doesn’t only refuse to return his shopping cart to the cart corral, but he intentionally places it such that it’s blocking the exit to the store.

And then he just stands there off to the side for a second, waiting for someone else to have to move it.

And then he laughs and walks away.

    Absolute sicko.

  12. Selfishly I hope he stays and has Micah for a full training camp.

He deserves to be a HC, but it’s going to be difficult this round to get that role. He has to compete with high profile former head coaches like Harbaugh, Stefanski, McCarthy and coordinators that have head coach experience like Saleh, Flores. There are only a few openings (Atl, Ari, Cle, LV, NYG, Tenn). Most of those teams will want to hire someone who has had recent successes as a head coach or one that can develop their young QBs (offensive coordinator). Not saying he will or won’t, but it won’t be easy to get one of those HC openings.
