āIn the first 45 minutes after John Harbaugh was fired this afternoon, his agent Bryan Harlan said he received calls from seven NFL teams expressing interest in his client. There currently are seven NFL head coach openings, including Baltimoreās.ā
The Miami Dolphins have reached out to John Harbaughās agent, according to Josina Anderson. Barry Jackson, Miami Herald, refuted the report and reported that Miami has yet to reach out to the top NFL head coaching candidate.

All Iām gonna say is if they do this. You need to fire the head coach before any ātalksā take place. How many times we gonna make the same mistakes. And they better make darn sure they get him or weāre gonna be holding the bagā¦againā¦ if u ask me Miami isnāt a viable destination for him. Outside of him and stefanski this is one of the worst hiring pools Iāve ever seen. We could very likely end up with an even worse head coach after the owner ruins his reputation even more than it is now when reeling in Harbaugh fails. Iād also like to add this guy was on the hot seat before Jackson arrived to save his job, folded in the playoffs with a stacked team and somehow couldnāt reach the playoffs with Henry and Jackson against a 40+ Aaron Rodgers and mediocre Steelers roster. The guy hasnāt done anything meaningful in like a decade. Also canāt seem to develop a qb to a high level and keep them there. All I see is another mediocre coach living on success from the 2010ās. This fanbase loves has been coaches though. This guy does the same weird stuff McD does. Abandons the run in big games, goes for it when they need points, gets out coached in the playoffs and big games. Swapping one type of mediocrity for another.
Yes, move on from McDaniel. Harbaugh has been described as a CEO type HC. If Ross offers Harbaugh more control than most along with Chad Alexander, it would be a bonus move.
