Makes me think AR was an Irsay pick just like Wentz was a Reich/Irsay move

Draft Room Vibes are night and day in comparing when Richardson was drafted to when Warren was drafted…

  1. Idk seems pretty similar. Only difference is at 14 they were actively talking about who to pick as the draft goes. At 4, it was pretty clear.

  2. Knowing they had to take a guy who probably wasnt going to work out at 4, vs a surprise fall for a supremely exciting prospect at 14

  3. AR was not an “Irsay” pick lol. We were going qb and tried to trade up but couldn’t. Warren was pure luck since it could’ve easily been the Bears that got him and us Loveland (who is a good player).

  4. You know I’ve kinda wondered if Irsay forced moves as well and that’s why Ballard is getting more of an opportunity. Irsay was pretty erratic with his moves, bringing in Jeff Saturday, so I have strong suspicion he forced things in drafting. If that is the real reason Ballard is getting such a long leash it does explain why Carlie isn’t able to give a strong answer to questions. She’s not going to publicly blame her deceased father but they want to be loyal to Ballard who took a lot of punches for him (if this hypothetical is true)

I have no idea just spitballing. When Ballard is fired one day the tell all book should be interesting.

  5. Still can’t believe Morocco Brown got the chop for the pick that the GM ultimately said yes to.

This isn’t true at all. This gif is the moment the trade between the Texans and cardinals was announced which guaranteed Anthony would be there for the pick. I’d say they’re just as happy and surprised as they were Warren falling to them

  7. *Slightly* off topic, but now I wonder if Shane has ever went to Halloween parties dressed as Dax Shepard.

  8. I mean to be fair Warren is a much better pure draft talent thank like, a majority of dudes

  9. I think one was drafting the 3rd best QB in the draft after your division rival drafted not only a higher ranked QB, but also traded up to get the best defensive player ahead of you. Richardson was known to be raw. Warren was the top TE, which just so happened to be the biggest need of the Colts at the time. They got lucky in that situation.

  10. AR was 100% a Ballard pick. He’s everything Ballard looks for in a player. High potential, off the charts RAS score, elite athleticism. Trying to scapegoat other people for a prototypical Chris Ballard draft pick is ludicrous.

  11. You guys gotta make me stop feeling like a world leader and changing my opinions based on who I spoke with last

  12. Draft day vibes are going to be legit this year as we watch until the 2nd round because we wanted the SAUCE. Boy that didn’t turn out so well.
